From VW just in material : 1.200 euros - , 3 gear stuff and 2 too since is getting bad, sincronized bearing of course, and material from 1 to 2 gear and 3 to 4. jesus. Just to take the gearbox out were 4 hours at 25 euros... And then... From you country : Hi Sir I am able to supply the gearbox in which you need for the lupo gti 5 speed manual fully reconditioned with 1 years warranty and new uprated bearing at £395 no vat, delivery would cost £90 no vat to Portugal and will also have a surcharge deposit of £250 which is fully refundable once the old gearbox comes back to me, below is the gear box explained NOW FITTED WITH AN UPRATED PINION BEARING (AS USED IN RACE CARS) TO PREVENT THE SAME PROBLEM OCCURRING. These gearboxes suffer from bearing problems and 5th gear problems. If you buy s/hand unit you will not know if it is OK until it is fitted.
