  1. 5 months later, after waiting for Mini/BMW to find my rear exhaust trim bumper part... its fitted! (belt line dechromed also)
  2. Cheers guys! Have missed doing it. 3D model render, like all brochure images for Ford, they're all CG, none are pure Photographs.
  3. Its all well and good until the common fault of Timing Chain and Carbon build up arises, which Mini UK refuse to fix, even though they know its an issue. Regular Cooper or Diesel engines on R56/55 maybe great, but Cooper S is riddled with issues.
  4. Breakdown of some passes: ...and next project (its actually black, white for visual purposes) Done using 3DS Max, Vray + Photoshop.
  5. Looks awesome. I just want whatever pay roll you're on.
  6. Main bad point for the Gen 1 is the ridonkulous £300 road tax price. Also read that they're not as well built as the Gen2, but they seem better built, mechanically. Also everything for a Mini seems way overpriced compared to a VW.
  7. As a new Mini Cooper Clubman S owner... they're already expensive to run, and depending on whether its a Gen 1 or 2, they both have their down points.
  8. 'tis a shame he has stripped it (and maybe sold it now?) Got his rear bumper sat in my hall way.
  9. If it was around £50 to buy it outright, I would purchase it. Their £660.51 (in VAT) is a joke. http://www.adobe.com/uk/products/catalog/cs6._sl_id-contentfilter_sl_catalog_sl_software_sl_creativesuite6.html You bought into Creative Cloud?
  10. But what is in fact a time-waster to car sellers? People who come, and don't give you money? Is that it...
  11. Ooo ok then I have just been reading about it. Someone's Clubman bill nearly came to £3,000 to replace the part after labour... Then another guy got his fixed for £150 due to getting as much evidence as he could to show that the fault is common. Think I will do my research on it see if it is more common R53, than the R55/56.
  12. It is 50k miles... Would it not come under the Service at any point before I picked the thing up? Also any reason to get it changed? Seems ok, well its better than the Lupo so anythings an improvement! So my overly priced Plasti Dip arrived! Got a chance today to have a go at it. Prepped my parts! Got through 1 and half cans of the stuff, lucky I bought 2.. I haven't attempted spraying before, so it was an effort. Wasted a lot of it, but it was fun to just peel off and start again without consequence. Not too keen on the Headlight surrounds, matte black compared to the paint that looks Navy in extreme light... Maybe it will look better in the dark. Also the chrome line at the bottom really stands out now Also, purchased R99's JCW Aero rear kit - coming Thursday!
  13. Happy for you. Hope you didn't have to drop too much in price.
  14. Ooo please do. Really wanted a JCW but they're silly expensive - and rare. Looks as if you have done more research than me haha! De-chroming though will be necessary.
  15. Oooo ok I will check them out - new to this Mini-lark! Love your car, envious of the red! Mine is here lol http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?/topic/94678-clubman-cooper-s-replacement-for-the-lupo/
  16. Didn't know you were on here. Been following your progress for months on Clubman Register before I got mine!
  17. The interior is an acquired taste across the board, especially with the speedo in the centre of the vehicle - but I did find today that I could change the small display in the rev counter to show my current MPH. Which helps going through Speed Cameras!
  18. I will have to get back on the Photoshopping (or go a step further and 3D model it...) Oh yes! But from the looks of parts for the car, already its pricey so its going to be a slow process Some snaps in the Essex snow!
  19. Looked sweeetttt! Is it anyone on here! Centre exhaust, lowered. Couldnt put my name on the rims..
