  1. Lol, nice to hear from you too Pal, don't even know if SE's still going, pretty sure my account wont be I should go and pop a For Sale ad'y on! I also need to trademark that reply In a bit, © 2002 Leon.
  2. Not that I know of Matey, although your username rings a bell... I used to be 'BlackpoolCupra' from 2002-2004 and use SeatEnthusiasts quite a bit until the owner threw a hissy fit, then just sort of floated about the VAG forums for the past few years when I've needed a bit of in depth info Thankyou, another point noted and will be checked, I'll have to pop to the loacal VW Garage this weekend and see what they've got in
  3. Cheers for the advice Matey, always loved the Mk1 Golf but having never actually driven one I'm hoping the dream lives up to the reality, I could end up dissapointed. Oops about the Polo GTi too, I'm not all that up on my Polo Mk's but you knew what I meant so it's all good! I'll have to take all these cars out really and see which one I like the feel of the most. I had the pedal box go in my 2002 Mk3 Ibiza Cupra, luckily it was under warenty at the time, I assume it's the same part. VR6 would be awesome, I'd love to keep the 6cylinder exhaust tone, but your right, if you want a good one you have to pay for it, and I'm selling the R32 to try and save some money Hmm, I'll ask the question if I go and test drive one... And I've would also love that Blue GTi, it looks like a baby version of what I've got now! Cheers again gang, Leon.
  4. We also use 'The Remote'... I have heard it called 'The Couch Commander' before though, thought that was an odd one! In a bit, Leon.
  5. Eek, upsetting about the 'Jacking Disaster' Bud Recently helped a mate out with his Mk1 Golf and much the same happened... Good luck with the project In a bit, Leon.
  6. Crickey, A8's ain't exactly light either... In a bit, Leon.
  7. Hiya All, seen your stand at plenty of VW shows in the past so thought I'd best join up to get some Lupo info from the experts... I'm currently selling my Mk4 Golf R32 as unfortunately I've got to get myself on the property ladder (Boo! ) and some of the replacement cars I'm looking at are: Mk1 Golf GTi Mk3 Golf VR6 Mk2 Ibiza Cupra Mk4 Polo GTi Lupo GTi Having never even sat in a Lupo, I'm just here to ask if there are any particular 'hot-spots' to check for when looking at a used one, GTi or other? Any common leaks, electrical issues, bodywork areas bar the usual checks that I may need to look out for? Thanks in advance for any help and hopefully I'll still be here in a few weeks with pics of a Lupo! Cheers, Leon. PS.
