  1. I haven't been on here ages I still have the car it's going back in for paint soon I've only been driving my Ibiza cupra for a while now but I miss driving the lupo so much more fun than the cupra
  2. this is gonna be better than when it was built new alex! what are you gonna do when you run out of things to replace/refurb
  3. it may have been there but not in stu,s ownership
  4. Maf sensor possibly their always an issue on those engines
  5. Hi paul the lupo is looking great i can sympathise with you with the bent valves happened to me on the way home from gti international in 2007 at 100 mph on the m1 your plans look interesting i spoke to you and your brother a couple of years ago at cumbria vag i think i even offered to buy your interior before i had mine redone so glad youve still got the lupo love! i also agree with you on the cars are for driving hard from time to time not scrapping over everthing, thats why i got a gti engine fitted and have my coilovers at a drivable height whilst still low ill be keeping an eye out for future updates Carl

Yep that much poke et 35 is the perfect lupo offset its down to wheel size and width i run 8 x 16 et 35 as dailies with arch work et 0 would be a nightmare

Theres no chance they will fit with that low offset even with et 35 you still need arch work running 195/40/16 tyres

  12. thankyou for the kind words, as for painting the lower valance its not really a look i like, the car is based more on an oem+ theme, i think vw got it right with the lower plastics being un-painted
  13. bit of an update my 200 cell sports cat arrived ive got to say i didnt think it would make much difference but i was pleasantly surprised the car feels much more capable now so well worth it bought a new oil catch tank as mine was leaking from the sight glass as the sun was shining today thought i would give the interior a well over due clean and the results ive got to say i love the smell of liquid leather! ive also fitted led sidelight, numberplate light and reverse light bulbs which look so much cleaner, lower doorcards, tweeter builds and binnicle cover are off to the trimmers for a new look, got a few more things in the pipeline to more updates soon carl
  14. its a lupo steering wheel that has been re-worked to match the mk6 golf gti wheel but keeping the lupo airbag its custom made
