  1. we havn't bothered to do anything to ours i'm affraid, i wash it every now and then.
  2. We're thinking of selling if anybody is interested 1.0L S model
  3. Our lass was driving home today and the drivers side door mirror casing fell off, she didn't bother stopping as it was damaged anyway. Does anybody know if i can just buy a new casing? preferably from a scrap yard, or is it a new job lot. It was painted red and the car is 53 reg. cheers, Rich
  4. That's it, made of plastic i think, horrid stuff Get some of this on it: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/3-8-10mm-Clear-Braid...%3A1%7C294%3A50
  5. Hmm. i know what you're saying matey, and perhaps people enjoy doing it. But the simple fact is, it is nie on impossible to make a flash car. The manufacturers invest millions of pounds and thousands of man hours in the design of thier cars, when we try it they just look silly Homer Simpson once said "No matter how hard you try to do something, their will allways be somebody better at it than you... So what's the point in bothering" Made me laugh anyway.
  6. Don't do anything to it.. If you want to look a bit flash... Buy a flash car, simple.
  7. This happened to my MK2 Arosa whilst under warranty. They had to order a new badge as to open the bonnet they had to break the existing one. I took a close up picture of the badge and catch behind it for future reference. i'll post it if you want
  8. this happened to my girlfriends car (engine idling fast and brakes lose their sharpness) i remembered the symptoms from my old Vauxhall viva, ha ha. Anyway it can be fixed with some 3/8" braided hose used for air conditioning drain pumps and 2 jubilee clips. Although it's a braking component it isn't a critical part, the brakes still work as good, you just have to apply more pressure to the pedal without servo assit working. Cars never used to have servo assisted brakes... how times change
  9. Don't hold your breath, when i always got damp problems the HT leads were knackered. Good luck tho
  10. What's wrong with the wheels that are on it?
  11. Ha Ha, i never paid any attention to it until i bought a car with a bloody trip compooter.
  12. Perhaps the heater matrix is leaking, see if it smells the same as the header tank cap.
