I've had mine mapped for years and the clutch didn't slip, it did eventually die half way up a hill but think that was more down to age then torque so I wouldn't worry

Cheers for the reply, I bought a small spline boss so it wasn't a straight fit. Got the sleeve off and wheel fitted. Ended up using a gear puller and a set of mole grips in the end for a larger area to hook onto

Any body got a technique to removing the sleeve from the spline on the steering colum to put a steering wheel boss on? I've tried ashamed and gear puller but it's not budging, the cars an arosa ti if it effect things

just a quick question does any one know the correct way to rewire the driver side electric window switch. I bought a replacement switch unit of eBay after the old one fell to bits and rather then having the little pins set up the replacement has come with spade connectors (identical to the passenge doors switch). Now me being an impatient Burk I pulled the wires out of the adapter thinking it would be an easy job and after two days of miner sparks and shocks I'm stumped. I got it to the point where the window came down fine but would only go up when the lights were on or vice versa which got me plenty of friendly waves of people who thought I know them but it's not ideal.
