Can anyone please help with an issue I am having with my bfs 1.6 Beetle . The car keeps bringing up a fault for bank 1 rich , I know it is running rich as the exhaust smell is very strong , the maf sensor has been changed out with a good sensor off a running car with no faults , the injectors have been replaced as well as the fuel pressure regulator and the inlet manifold has been resealed . The oxygen sensor before the cat has been replaced with a new bosch sensor , the exhaust is not blocked . The car did have a start fault and the ECU was the fault not communicating with the instrument cluster therefore the ECU and instrument cluster have been replaced . Also the plugs ,leads and coil pack have been replaced as well as the coolant temp sensor all with quality parts , still the car runs rich .
