  1. Thanks, I'll look into that. How easy is it to check if a cable has detached from the temp control knob?
  2. Following flushing, draining and refilling the cooling system, I can only get max hot air from the ventilation system. It doesn't matter what position the temperature control knob is in. Prior to flushing the cooling system, the temperature control worked fine. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be here? Also, does the temperature control knob operate a remote water valve? (I.e. via a cable)
  3. Does anyone have a heater blower resistor 4 pin plug with approx 75mm pigtails on it they can let me have? Mine overheated and welded itself into the resistor socket. I plan to cut the damaged plug off and splice a good one back on . I believe the Part No. is 1JO 972 754 😏

  6. VW Lupo 1.0 MPI:- 2000 (X Reg) Black I'm looking for the for the following bits for my Lupo: Driver's side internal door pull, in light grey. Window winder crank, in light grey. If you can help with the above items, please let me know....Thanks
  7. I bought the Lupo for my 17 year old son who is learning to drive. This is his first car and was his preferred choice. The mirror glasses wont stay put when pushed into place, this can be unnerving and tiresome when someone is learning to drive Is it possible that something has come adrift inside the mirror housing and that this problem can be easily repaired? It's a real chore having to continually adjust the mirrors, especially when the car has to be reversed between two substantial brick pillars and into a narrow driveway! My preference would be to have electric mirrors retro-fitted. Has any member actually done this, if so, are there any kits available on the market?
  8. Both door mirror remote control knobs on my Lupo 1.0 (2000) don't operate the mirrors. Can this malfunction be repaired or are replacement mirrors required? Also, is it possible to retro fit electric mirrors to this car, are there any kits available out there? Any help or advice would be appreciated.
