  1. Greetings, I just ordered an OBDEleven adapter to read&clear codes and also change some features of the car. Is it possible to code a function to shutdown power when key is off the ignition or the car is locked? (Even when the key is off you can still plug anything to the lighter port and use it. That's bad if you leave the equipment connected when away from the car for some hours. The car can run out of battery if you forgot your smartphone while charging it) I'm aware turning off all the power could result in shutting off the millage and time screens when the car is locked. Thanks in advance
  2. Hello fellas, I'm thinking about changing my Lupo's lights to LED. From what I read it's a H4 bulb. If I get an H4 LED from Ebay will the car accept it with no handwork needed? Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!
  3. Hello fellas, after getting started with some maintenance I got 2 questions: Should I use 5w30 or 10w40 on my 1.4 petrol with 93k miles in a temperate climate? (never gets below 0 ºC or above 43 ºC) Is enough cleaning EGR with a brush and kitchen products? I've heard you get better results using these ones than specific EGR Cleaning products and you save a lot Thank you!
  4. I think it has something to do with the lambda sensor aka emissions I used to drive below 60mph all day and the engine light turned on several times. To fix that you can just go pedal to the metal for a couple of miles, let the engine and all systems cool down, restart the car and the light should go off Note: Can you tell me which OBD adapter did you use? Mine is giving me error connecting to ECU. It could be the adapter or aftermarket radio
  5. if one of the microswitches has passed away does it affect the warning sound of lights on with no key on the ignition? I found out the one from passenger's door is not turning the interior light on when door's open
  6. That's the problem. It should make the sound but it doesn't! Lights on, open door(any door) with key OUT of the ignition NO SOUND
  7. No signal. Nothing Where can I find the microswitch? Is it built in inside the door locker? The thing is that everything is working except the warning sound... If the interior light works I guess the door's mechanism is OK :\
  8. Hello fellas, I recently bought a 1.4 Lupo left hand drive and I've never heard an alert when I leave the lights on when doors open/key out of the ignition The inside roof light works as meant to be (turns on when key out of the ignition or any door open) but no alert is played when I leave mediums/presence light/maximums ON with ignition OFF/no key on it Any idea how to fix this? Since I have no idea if this has anything to do with the fuses, I'll post 2 pics of the fuse box (also, tell me if something is missing please) Thanks in advance!
  9. Hello, The title may look unclear but yeah, it happened. Each seat has 2 springs below it to help retract movement. The ones from the doors side for both seats just came off during last 2y and I can't figure out where they belong. Each one requires to sockets to stick to the seat, and I found one of them but the other still missing. So, only the front end of the spring is attached. The back end is loose because I can't figure out where it sticks... has anyone had this problem before? [I didn't find any photos on Google for this problem. If some1 could post a photo of the described spring working as it's meant to I would be fulfilled] Thanks in advance
  10. Np! I only got a new one last week and yes, it was a 12" Fits perfectly 👌
  11. Hi there, I bought my Lupo in 2nd hand and the day to change the rear wiper blade has arrived. From what I got so far, the rear blade is 11" but it seems that in my country there is no such small length available. Can I fit a 12 or 13" in the lupo without cutting it? Has anyone ever tried it before? Thanks in advance (Sorry for my bad english)
