My 4 year old 1.4 SE Lupo had cam belt changed recently (15,000 miles). It then developed slight oil leak. Indicator stick replaced last week. 48 hours later noticed scraping noise from steering column. Garage deny faults are anything to do with them. Oil leakage is from gearbox area which wasn't touched during cam belt change. Steering column scrape is said to be faulty slip ring which again, garage do not interfere with although they concede that it had to be removed in order to replace indicator stick. Am I old and cynical or do I smell a rat?
