Hi I'm hoping to do a 1.8t conversion, I've done a fair bit of reading on it an all looks fairly straight forward the only but that's really puzzling me is the wiring looms, as anybody spliced there own looms there selves? whats exactly entailed in the wiring? im hoping to keep standard vag in car and the 1.8t engine loom and ecu im looking to buy 2 complete cars and do the whole thing myself, when looking at cars is there a certain lupo I should choose? Is the 1.8t a3 a good donor with 5 speed box? Is there better alternative? should I be looking for cable throttle or fly by wire? any information from people that have already done a conversion or been involved in one or just know a lot about it would be brilliant, also any tips you might think useful along the way. thanks in advance best regards Dan
