  1. Participated the first sprint race of the season. Here is my onboard:
  2. Nothing interesting, enjoying the car and summer wheels setup.
  3. Finally received my car from service. Installed wheels...I love that look!
  4. My dad gave me his old (but damn so fresh and clean) steering wheel from VW Tiguan 2012. It is about 35 centimeters in diameter. It was used for the first 5000 kilometers and after that was installed leather one. Decided to try to install it on my Lupo as have been seen here (of course these are VW Golf GTI's ones): And:
  5. From other part of our country have been shipped my spacers. Each one is 13mm. So that I could make the offset the same way. Before: After: You can see that new 195/45 tyres will fit old 185/55's "shadow". It means the same steering and tyre rubbing while contacting the body.
  6. When I will see Alexander, I will make. It's not a problem. Or try and find some info here: https://www.drive2.ru/r/volkswagen/1703370/ Black ones with winter pike tyres, silver ones with summer tires. Borbet's weight is 7,7Kgs and VSMPO's weight is 5,6Kgs. So yes, there is a noticeable difference.
  7. The question is about their intake diameter. I am looking for 34mm-38mm ones. Not 44mm blacktops or silvertops from Trueno\Levin. It is considered to be 34-38mm just to make tubes not so long. Yesterday received pics from my rims seller:
  8. Thanx, and yes I am going to make custom intake and exhaust manifolds. But don't know when will it happen. By the way, today bought fresh 195/45 tyres. Brand new. They cost me smth around 150$ (11000 rubles) which I consider very damn cheap for new set of tyres with 45th height.
  9. Bought forged rims VSMPO Sirius. 15x6J ET38 4x100 and the weight is 5.7 kilos per each 1 rim. Also selling my Borbets and going to buy nice tires...smth like Ventus R-S3 Z222 or Toyo T1R. For daily and track use.
  10. Absolutely actionless, you're right. Gonna repaint the car, install another wheel set, interior changes...it seems to me that another time I could film some footage with my car is may 2k17 before or after our VW Festival in Russia. With roll shots, action shots.
  11. Here's my black Lupo. Edited today from old footage. *DELETED*
  12. Nice Borbets, they look like new in that silver colour. Mine are black 15x7J ET25. With winter 185/55 tyres they don't like my arches)
  13. That grill now belongs to my friend, cause his Lupo 2.0ltrs (ABF & KR mix) have been injured a bit in accident.
  14. Why Firstly my car haven't had them from the factory. Secondly it seems to me that without fogs the whole front is more clean. Thirdly I've decided to make smth like rally lights on my hood or just make a bashbar with big fogs.
  15. Recently made a photo and videoshoot. Here are some pics. Washed car by the way ' No badge...need to attach it, just have no time, always forget about that piece.
  16. My seats have been waiting for OMP belts so long... Finally installed last ones: Welded platforms with standart 7/16 nuts: Made of foam rectangle cover to 2 DIN Also adjusted my coilovers to be extremely low in winter conditions (sorry for being toooo dirty, but the weather is...bad):
  17. Well, got some news. Restored my Borbets. Full black. Like black a lot: Now as I have completed my winter setup - will adjust coils to lower the car. Stay tuned ?
  18. little update. Found out clean front lip (without fog lights). Also made nice pics of my interior with Sparco seats.
  19. Installed seats! Welded a square platform to VagSport's rails: And finally they are fitted into my car:
  20. Well, I have some fresh news. Bought 2 pairs of OMP Road 3M belts. Like new. Also bought couple of Sparco R100 seats. NEW! In Sparco polyethylene packets! Here is one of them from original seller's post. And what do you think? I have paid 300$ for all of them! 2 seats and 2 belt sets!))) Still can't believe in that lucky situation!
  21. Fresh news. Bought Borbet Type A 15x7J ET25, fits my 280s nicely. 4 point belts are ordered, waiting for them. Have made custom front and rear bar mounts.
  22. Looking for ITBs on my Looop. The overall purpose - to achieve a bit horsepower and torque and make my engine bay not stock. Decided to use Suzuki's ones or Kawasaki ones. Diameter of intake is 36-38mm which is nice for 1.4 litres. Not too big like Toyota Levin's silvertops or blacktops (40mm +++). The question is how to rewrite the Bosch ME 7.5.10 for using with ITBs. Or just simply use MS.
  23. Swapped front 256s ATE Power Discs to 280s Brembo. Nothing extra.
