I have a Lupo 1.4 Sport - 2000 on a W plate. I've had it for just over a year. Suddenly gear change has become very difficult. 1st, 3rd and 4th are really stiff to put into gear. 2nd and 5th are always alright. The pedal box was changed in June 2006. VW dealers say it could be the clutch. Mr Clutch say they don't know. Any ideas on what could be wrong - obvious things have been looked at such as is there enough gearbox oil, which there is! Thing is it does not happen all the time, sometimes it will go into gear perfectly and other times it is really stiff. I does not seem to be if the car is hot, cold or anything that I can pin point! Does anyone have any ideas because I am stumped! Thanks Nicola

How much is a lupo 1.4 16v sport worth? Its a red one! with the red seats, sunroof, tape and cd player 'W' reg on a 2000 42000miles Cam belt changed at 40000 miles

Hello sorry to hear your not enjoying it at uni. I never went to uni but did go to college, started off in a crappy job (office junior) but i'm now a legal secretary for a partner of a law firm and am studying to be a paralegal. The course is hard and I have to give up my weekends to study. I have 6 weeks to do each assignment which sounds a long time but when you work full time trust me its not. Anyway enough about me in my experience people that go to uni don't end up getting a job in what they studied anyway but maybe you should stick out your first year and if you really do not like it at least you can say you tried and trust me it looks much better on a CV. Imagine... you go for an interview and they say "How comes you did not stay on at uni?" you say "oh because I did not like it so I gave up" whereas if you stick it out for a year you can gain some knowledge and it looks like you've tried. If you stay on at uni you won't walk out straight into a good job anyway you'll have to start at the bottom like everyone has to. Maybe you could get a job in what you enjoy and work your way up - that is what I am doing (plus you get paid for it!!) also you won't end up with a large debt!! Hey just bought myself a new Lupo today too and i too sold a crappy Corsa two weeks ago!

Hey, just bought myself a Lupo 1.4 Sport today on a W reg plate and drove all the way to Bournemouth to get it (I live in Maidstone)!!! but well worth going down there for!! its very clean one lady owner got a sunroof and both stereos. Has 33k on the clock and groovy red and black seats to match the paintwork - i think that just might be a girlie thing tho! Can't wait to pick it up - much better than my crappy Corsa i sold two weeks ago!!!!
