  1. So I forgot to upload the pictures of my interior, but heres the best one, even this is bad quality! Not much has been done since i painted the air vents and the temperature setting surround... whatever its called. Im currently waiting for the weather to get a bit better so i can start to work on a boot build! will only be something simple seeing as its my first go but i may get round to doing something a bit better in the future! Thanks for reading!
  2. Me too! Thank you! Got a few more bits painted today, should have pictures up tomorrow! On another note.. i know its all the way in august, but is anyone on here going to VW Festival? Im actually thinking of applying to the show and shine, i dont mid if i dont get accepted but its worth a try! would make my year if i got accepted for it!
  3. So over the past couple of days, i've been stripping my interior door cards and parcel shelf and retrimming them... Again... I much prefer this than the black material i used before! Heres a few pictures of what i've been up to!
  4. Since today is basically my cars birthday, i decided to go out and take some photo's. I thought i would try my fisheye as well but this seems to have made the edges a bit blurry. would also appreciate if you could follow me on instagram too? @lewis_lupo
  5. So finally after months of not having a working drivers side window, i got it sorted. This meant i could put my G3 wind deflectors on that i have had now since Christmas! With the weather being as British as ever... i got round to cleaning and waxing on the few decent days that it wasnt raining... I used DATWAX and its the second wax i've ever used and i love it! The smell is awesome and its incredibly easy to apply and take off again! Thats all for now!
  6. This looks a very clean GTI! I just got a new regulator/ motor for my drivers side! when i got back home, realised my passenger side had stopped working but i will come to that another day!
  7. Updating with a couple of pictures!
  8. Dont seem to be very active on this anymore, but i'll try get more posted up! since christmas, i've set too and tried to get stuff done, just little things. Yesterday i found myself painting the rear pop-out window grommets. the passenger side is just drying as i type this up and will be fitted again soon! Looks like its drowning in lacquer but it wasnt! I have been speaking to a guy that also used to own a Lupo, he offered me a set of JBW starmags for a very good price! They were recently refurbished and repolished by himself. I am considering them for "summer wheels". He also works as a painter for Volkswagen and i may be getting my bumpers resprayed soon to get rid of the scratches and different coloured paint that the previous owner has clearly tried to cover up. Heres a picture of the starmags... They look in good condition, but im not sure what the tires are like, but they shouldnt be too hard to replace! Thanks for reading!
  9. Will we be expecting to see this at any shows?
  10. Not a great deal happening recently, i got my indicator bulbs fitted, mud flaps fitted and finally all the wheels painted. Glad it all looks the same now!
  11. First off, just like to wish everyone on Club Lupo a happy new year! and now... im in need of some help, i have got myself some new indicators (philips silver vision) and headlights (OSRAM nightbreaker unlimited) i thought i would have a go at swapping the indicators but the furthest i got was pulling the electric cables out and that was a pain itself as it didnt want to budge! after that i couldnt seem to get the rest to move or see where the bulb goes in! pictures would be greatly appreciated or if someone could send me a link in the right direction!
  12. So as its raining today, i decided to have a look at what i can do to keep me occupied over the winter. I've taken off my drivers side lower door card as i planned to paint them gloss black to match the other parts of the interior, but i noticed its all held together with plastic welds? anyone got any advice on how to separate it because i really dont fancy trying to paint it with the speaker grille and pocket net attached!
  13. Havent posted on here for a good while now but i'll have pleanty more updates after christmas! and in the new year!
  14. Its fine, im also extrmely poor at the minute! i'll probably have a look around some places and see what other people say!
  15. Someones going to be busy! and it was me asking about the OSRAM bulbs!
  16. A lot of people have the Sharan badge? i think its the sharan one? its 90mm anyway!
  17. Osram nightbreakers any good?
  18. Nothing much has changed since i painted the wheels! Due to crappy weather i cant seem to get anything done! Im also looking for some new lights? Nothing too fancy just something to make it brighter in the evenings!
  19. Its actually re trimmed! I put a new material on, thinking of changing it some time in the new year though? Not sure on a material
  20. The rear badge area is annoying me! are you getting a smaller badge or are yoiu keeping it the same?
  21. So i finally got round to painting the wheels, well two of them. I didnt think i would need as much paint but i managed to run out. got a couple of bits on the way that should arrive sometime this week, -wheel caps -genuine mudflaps (lucky find on ebay! ) was hoping to find a polo aerial, the short ones but i dont know the part code? anyone got it, would be great help!
  22. Woaahh! So bright i love them!
  23. Thanks, and not too hard, you just need patience! it took overall about and hour with my mums hair dryer to get the stock material off then its just getting some heat resistant glue and sticking it on, its quite simple actually! Im sort of thinking of a new material that i will do the front door cards in then if i like it enough i'll do all of the above again!
  24. Finally got pictures of the interior. started a new little project... wheels, white wheels! just got one finished today, i'll admit, its not the best paint job and im not a professional painter, i just prefer white steelies rather than the trim... will hopefully have pictures after the weekend! parcel shelf rear door cards and the c-pillars. could sort of do with some inspiration for the roof lining... wont get round to it straight away as its getting darker and colder and im having less time to be working outside... pictures of roof linings or a material would be great, thanks for reading!
