  1. Hi, This started when I was driving home the other day, the horn just started beeping randomly when the wheel was turning, at first I thought I must have accidentally hit the horn but it got worse and worse as I continued to drive. Firstly it was just when I turned the wheel every now and then, I took the air bag out of the center of the steering wheel to check the connections and the they seemed fine, nothing was obviously out of place or touching. When I put it back on the horn was beeping constantly which was weird. I took the horn off and checked the plug with my multi meter, was getting 0v stationary wheel and at 11-12v when pressing the horn, but when I moved the wheel would get anywhere from 3-10v which I thought was weird. The horn is now off the car to temporary solve the problem but I'm not sure if I have a short somewhere. Any of you guys had a similar problem? Any help would be appreciated Cheers
  2. After further inspection today I'm fairly confident its the oil separator. There was oil in the inlet side of the head, caked in the manifold and the throttle body, I cleaned it up and put it back together and its not smoking as much, but pretty sure I need to save up for the 90 quid part! Any one else had anything similar like this?
  3. Hi, My Lupo's been loosing oil for the past week or so now so I decided to investigate. I took the air filter cover off and found quite a lot of oil lurking in the bottom of the cover and some also around the throttle body. I was reading up on this online last night and found that sometimes the hoses can get blocked with oil forcing it back into the air filter. So today I took all the inlet manifold and throttle body off to get to the oil separator I think its called and the inlet manifold is caked in oil residue still slightly moist to the touch. Same with the throttle body, could this be a problem with the oil separator or is it more serious? I wanna see if anyone has had this problem before as I don't wanna spend 80 odd quid on a new oil separator if this won't sort it? Any ideas welcome as at the minute I'm just thinking out loud! Cheers Todd
