Hi all! Not so much a new member, more of a returning member! I owned Huw's GTI at the back end of last year, and went to the darkside and went Jap for a year.. Well, now im back, having just bought Pro3mark's GTI, so thought i'd re-introduce myself!

I would double check those fuses again, and make sure you are looking at the correct fuse. I have come across so many fuses going pop due to people using phone chargers, satnav chargers etc..
-
Yeah, if the inserts were fitted that could be a cause, just seemed very unusual thats all Yeah, the Spoon does sound awesome, we get alot of customers come in with that, or the Toda system, which again sounds fantastic. And i work at Crown Honda in Bushey Heath
-
Really liking this CTR Also, i work for Honda as a technician, and in my 4 years there to date, i have NEVER come across an engine mount breaking! The front engine mount rubber usually splits and requires replacing, but never a side mount! How did you manage that? Oh, exhaust looks good too, although anything less than a Spoon N1 and i wouldnt be happy
-
Well, now you say it sounded good, Mark is the only one of us to have an aftermarket exhaust, so could well have been him! Oh this could get very confusing
-
Ha, quite possibly me then, i was around watford lastnite, probally heading home to Croxley Green!
-
Nah, defonatly wasnt me, i was cleaning a friends Civic! I reckon it was Mark, he had just left my house to fetch some wheels at about that time!

Hi Everyone! Been on the forum a while, and although i dont post too often, thought i would show off a few pictures of the GTI! I bought it off a fellow member "Huw Pugh" back in November, and after searching for a while, i knew this one was the one to have Huw had looked after the car amazingly, aswell as the previous owners. I said to Huw i would look after it just as well as he did! I havent really done alot to the car since owning it, have put on my own private reg, Pioneer double din screen, cambridge lights to name a few, but the car already came with coilovers which to this day, im still very happy with. So, onto a few pictures i guess! I have been keeping it immensly clean (obsessivly in the eyes of pro3mark ) using mainly Dodo juice products. I do get ALOT of comments on how clean it looks, which again, is a credit to the previous owners for keeping it so well looked after. No future plans for it really, to me its perfect how it is

Oh dear, looks like a group picture of all my stuff will have to be posted ...

Hi all Just wondering if anyone had put lets say, a Raceland 4-2-1 onto a standard GTI exhaust system? If so, how did it sound? (i know its hard to describe without hearing it) as im probally going to purchase one. I would think about getting a whole new exhaust system, but i really like the standard twin exit and would much rather keep it. Any thoughts?

Just has an AVH-P4000DVD installed in my GTI. Got to say, im VERY impressed with it so far! I know its one of Pioneers "lesser" double din units, but sound quality and image quality is spot on!

Going up on Saturday with pro3mark
-
I'll be there in my GTI

I bought my GTI when i was 19, Fully comp, 10k a year, two years no claims, £1095. It can be done, just takes alot of phone calls and playing the insurance companies off eachother.

I've gone for Rainsports in the end. Will let you know how they go!
