Is it genuine six speed gearbox oil ? -
I also heard you have a six pack . . . . . . . in the fridge.
-
It should also be a lot cheaper than a G to replace the panel.

Jamie, if you want to sell a windscreen, I can give you the number of my mate who works for Autoglass, for a nominal (normally small) fee, he removes them and installs in these situations. Last time I broke a Lupo, he whipped the glass out for me.

3 really loud beeps and flashing handbrake sign
Rich replied to jasper's topic in Car Care, Maintenance and Mechanical
I first encountered this in a GTI convo without ABS. I then came across it in Kam's when we hadn't plugged in one ABS sensor, plugged it in, beeping and light went away. We then met again in another GTI conversion without ABS. If there's a fault, it flashes, hence saying VAGCOM to see what comes up. If it's a low voltage, voltmeter time ! -
In the UK, you're pretty much allowed free reign to do as you please.
-
I'd be inclined to go with write off as well. I'd buy it back and get it repaired though.

FFS, £2500 for a 1.8T Lupo and you're all asking stupid questions. It's taxed, tested and Whitey currently uses the car.

Needing an ABS pump? -
No, I'm currently on a posting ban so I've spat my dummy and I'm not going on. Stop being lazy and follow on from the info given.

I can't tell you where but I can say you shouldn't do it. There's a guy on club polo who sells the glass plugs. Would fit and look a lot more subtle.

You have an ABS fault. You need to plug it into VAGCOM and get it diagnosed. -
Party less, fix car more !
-
I'd cut out all the 'it could be this' suggestions and simply find someone with vagcom, plug it in and get a definate answer. No offense but common sense says that should be the first thing you do anyways, the vag com system is there for these reasons
