  1. Cool, thanks mate, I know someone who has a diagnostic programme so i'll take it to them in the evening after work, just needed toknow if I shouldn't drive it. It really tells you nothing in the handbook so I'm glad of your help!
  2. I have just had the same thing on my 1.4, i need to use it tomorrow! is it life threatening? Engine appears to be running fine. I just want to know if i can drive it untill I can see a mechanic or if I need to stop driving it immediately. Many thanks from worried lupo owner!
  3. Oh that's cool then, thought i'd broken it!
  4. Picked up my lupo (1.4 petrol not the sport version) last friday, I can only seem to get 60 miles out of a quarter of a tank driving very sensibly (for a change) is this normal? Is it just cos I'm used to a larger tank or do you think there's a problem? It seems to be running very well, needs a service which it's having on friday Any ideas?
  5. make sure you spray it on a warmish day, it'll look pony if it's too damp/cold, it'll bloom

    1st loop

ooo, do like it on those G60 steels! A quick question for someone, it's the 1.4 petrol model, I filled it up and its used a quarter of a tank to do 60 miles is this normal? I drove it really carefully as well

    1st loop

Cool cheers, I think 14's would probably be better then I just like the look of the g60 steels! Haven't actually picked it up yet, I'm getting it tonight, I'm looking forwards to getting it!

    1st loop

Anyone? Has anyone got any piccies of loops on old school VW wheels, I think it'd suit them pretty well but haven't seen any

    1st loop

Hi, finally got my first loop, it's a 1.4 in the dragon green colour like on the old VR6's. I've bought it as a daily driver so I don't want to muck around with it loads. I'd like to put some G60 steels on it and lower it a bit as it's too far from terra firma for my liking! Firstly, will it drive ok on 15's and how much can I lower it by? I'd like it to be still fine for everyday use, the only other thing I was considering were perhaps the early style rims that would be found on the mk1 like the tarantulas or p slots
  10. Hi all, As you may or may not know about a year ago there were regular monthly meets held on the last sunday of every month at the Halfway House in Essex. On the 25th March @ 1pm we are going to try and revive this meet people still go on the Jct29 forum both new and old so it would be good to see if we could get it up and running again for both the new and the old dubbers of Essex. We're hoping for quite a few cars so the more the merrier really, I'm sure there's a few of you lot not too far away! So whos up for it!!!
  11. not bad, the arosa lights loo so much better in all red, they remind me of those kids toys where you push the shapes through normally! Loose the 'flaps though and the boot handle. also have you been to the ring? Only reason I ask is I saw a people carrier with a 'ring sticker on it the other day, it worried me

Sounds like a remote controll car crossed with darth Vader, I'd love to hear this in the flesh, I bet it's amazing, just got to start saving now....
  13. Cool, cheers for that, the first still looks high, I think they need to be slammed on 13's to get them to terra firma. I'm still not too sure about the top half, it's very tall, could probably do with a roof chop but it's hard to cut the glass when it's curved on modern cars, much easier on an old buick or chevvy etc On swecond thought's I think its the bonnet angle that makes it look wierd, there are things that can be done to draw the eye from that though
