Not a bad find... I bought a 2004 Raven blue Gti on 59k with leather seats and aircon for 3 grand!
-
Has anyone done a flat bottom steering wheel upgrade?
Skajme replied to Jordankeeble's topic in Volkswagen Lupo
£205 isn't too bad of a price to be fair! If you get this done you'll have to post up some pictures of it! Would be very interested in the outcome! -
They are such nice wheels, they suit the gti perfectly! definitely should have been a factory option!
-
Damn, I want some
-
I had it done at Tony Banks exhausts. They added another hanger near the tailpipes to give it more support
-
I'd have been interested but you are too far away!

Quick update, got my smaller aerial, looks a lot neater! and I sprayed behind the VW badge to match the car. I'm looking at replacing the MK5 chrome VW badge with a '3D' one off newer Golfs, apparently they are near enough the same fit. Still need to get it wired up so it opens with the handle actually aswell! Need to find somewhere to take it as I know nothing about wiring!

I'd definitely be up for it next year! Was a bit short notice this time!
-
Cheers, I've ordered one! Looks exactly what I was after! it is not. I'm not 100% on if I'm actually going and it's a bit off show standard in places to be honest! Cheers, it's getting there! the wheels are 7 inch wide fronts and 8 inch rears. ET25 all round and the tyres are 195/40/16

Couple more pics. Me and the missus went down to VWNW at Tatton Park today, really great day! Heading to VWfest next Sunday I think aswell! Finally got my new wheels on, love them! Edit: Fancy a smaller aerial, not a shark fin one, just a shorter one about the same length of the thick bit on the standard one. Any recommendations for a decent quality one?

I like the engine cover, looks smart!
-
I really like the tyre writing, looks quality! Still my favourite Gti this
-
same, if this is actually a thing!
-
Love a good white GTI!
-
Pretty sure the screen should be sekurit aswell!
-
it should be sekurit glass and not pilkington, tell tale sign! My old Gti had a standard window on passenger side which i had to replace!
-
Binned probably, I didn't ask for it back
-
Ask and you shall receive! (hopefully this works) VID_20180611_150718.mp4

New exhaust and bought some Wing mirror covers that I painted black. Ship shape Couldn't recommend Tony Banks enough! Exhaust is perfect and sounds lovely!

Seat parts shop website is a handy place for bolts and things http://www.seatpartsshop.co.uk/ just search the part number on the right hand side

I needed to do this and came on here for a guide...all the ones on here say to remove the glass then mess about with clips to remove it. I couldn't figure this out without feeling like i was going to break something so I checked Youtube and found this.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rl0-1K8DL5I It's a polo in the video but the mirrors the same. It works perfectly and is super easy! Most of you probably already know about this, but I though it was handy!

bloody lovely that! Nice pics!

Nice, I used to have a black one! So nice when they're clean...unfortunately doesn't last too long! Have to agree on disliking the original Steering wheel. Tempted to get a Lupo 3L one for mine!

Nice car, quite like those wheels! I'm around Sheffield/Barnsley fairly often, I'll have to keep an eye out for it!
