  1. Just had a look at the ones on ebay. They are 3D printed replacements, someone has obviously had the same issue as you and decided to sort it themselves, so they will fit, they just won't look that great
  2. Yeah, not sure somehow I missed it when I bought it from the previous owner, maybe the excitement of it being blue got the better of me! The drivers side sill doesn't have a single mark on it. I still use it daily so I won't be digging around in anything just yet! I'm gonna stick a few more (winter filth) pics on of the rest of the car
  3. This is the rust on the sill for anyone wondering MOT is due next month, if anyone wants to go mad and buy it before that i will let it go for £2,750 afterwards depending on what needs doing I might actually just take it off the road and get the bodywork sorted on it
  4. Just to update this, I'm thinking around 3.5k for the whole car? It's on around 89k miles and is mechanically sound and drives perfectly, its just the passenger sill and top of the windscreen that is sketchy. If you send me a message i can give more info and get some pictures for you I've followed you on Insta if you wanna DM me Unfortunately not, Rich. I'm after something boring now Edit: The BBS RC321s are up for grabs aswell. £800 if you want them
  5. Well if anyone wants to make me an offer on the whole thing...
  6. As title really, its my raven one and it's only a thought right now, but just thought i'd try and get a rough idea There's some rust on passenger sill and along the top of the windscreen, i drive it daily so can't really take it off the road to get fixed, and i wouldn't want to advertise it for sale how it is. I've just kinda lost the love for it I guess, so yeah I'm wondering how much in general they are worth in parts? It has heated leathers and a full mainfold back exhaust from Tony Banks, so theres some decent bits on it *car is now sold*
  7. yes, 3L is a straight fit. Used to have one
  8. There's a part of me that has a distant memory from somewhere about these where i read that one of the cogs or some part involved wears down in a certain place causing it not to work after a while and realigning it will fix it. Now I have no idea where I saw this information but it sounds like that's what has happened and what they have done to fix it. I would imagine it will probably be ok for a good while if that's the case
  9. Very impressive job on the spoiler and the brake light!
  10. Looks lovely. Find it mad how much nicer they look than the normal Up, when it's really very subtle styling. I think it's the wheels that really set it off!
  11. 12A I would imagine your best bet would be to get aftermarket braided lines. As for 10A/11A mk4 Golf ones fit with some bending. I haven't done it but there was a thread on here not so long ago where someone else was after the same thing and resorted to doing that
  12. This is a change I have been contemplating to be fair, The Lupo needs a bit of tidying up bodywork wise and I just don't know if I can be bothered anymore. But then I don't want to get rid and severely regret it! I suppose the ideal situation would be to have both
  13. I am sure I have seen someone on here, possibly @Rich say that you can use mk4 Golf ones, but they require some bending? I could be wrong, hopefully he can be a bit more help

    My Lupo Gti

Did buycarparts not send you the RTS ball joints? Because from what I can see on the site they are still listed and are the still the correct ones based off the images shown, unless they show as in stock until you try to buy them?
  15. The little cubby hole should pull out pretty easily, then you should be able to reach behind the stereo which should give you the leverage to force/wriggle it out. Basically what Rich was saying, ha

    Lupo Gti

Link above still works fine for me
  17. There's a girl I follow on instagram that has one of the original press cars that was in top gear magazine in 1999! Number plate is T62 DBW, green one with the triple bench in the back!
  18. Great video that, seem's like a decent bloke, him
  19. I live in Manchester, but I'm down Barnsley way at weekends so could take it up there with me
  20. I'll dm you Edit: actually, looks like you can't send pics over DM so I'll stick it on here
  21. I actually have one that I bought a few years back off a lad breaking a gti. I obviously had every intention of fitting it to mine but never got around to it and probably never will now. Have been thinking I should probably sell it. I've no idea what make it is or anything, but you can have it for £100 if you want
  22. Wheels look decent, but there's no way they are 17 inch wheels. Look like they are 15 inch to me. 17 inch alloys barely fit in the gti arches
  23. it isn't an MOT failure anyway, it was an advisory on my first GTI before I fixed it, and on my second GTI before I fixed that they never even mentioned it
  24. if its the glass clamp you are needing, you can get them on ebay, they're pretty cheap. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/361072649114?hash=item54119b639a:g:wrAAAOSwajVUMbFK https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221576161398?hash=item3396f7e876:g:464AAOSwF1dUMawn There's links to both sides as I'm not sure which side you need.
