  1. Noticed this on eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Lupo-GTi-Laser-Blue-60k-FSH/192922678368?hash=item2ceb167460:g:-BIAAOSw965c4s5L An original laser blue GTI from 2002 is something that doesn't exist though?
  2. Nice, glad to hear it was such an easy fix!
  3. Saw this on Facebook yesterday. They actually look really well made! From what I can see on the website, all the other 1/18 cars are about 60 euros. I might have to order one of these!
  4. How much was the spoiler out of interest?
  5. well, the 20's did scrub very occasionally, I think around 17mm is the sweet spot! I didn't really notice any difference to driving with them, certainly nothing negative
  6. Cheers! Every time I look at the wheels, I love them more!
  7. Such a nice colour, almost as nice as Raven Blue 😉 Looks a tidy example! 15mm spacers will be fine without rubbing
  8. My airbag light was on and it turned out to be the clip on the clock spring that clips into the airbag. Basically the metal contacts inside it had been pushed in and weren't connecting. Manoeuvred them back into position, cleared the light and it's been fine ever since. Another thing to possibly consider/check.
  9. https://volkswagen.7zap.com/en/rdw/lupo++lupo+3l+tdi/lu/2004-441/9/906-906000/#17 That's the page you want I think. It's under electrics. The part number from what I can see is 030 907 601 E
  10. Sorry for all the posts, getting around the post upload limit. You'll notice the tints are gone aswell. Heat gun made light work of them!
  11. And now the wheels, had them powdercoated in chrome, looks lovely and looks quite similar to the original RC finish!
  12. Right, wheels are finally on, they look better than I could have hoped! While I was there i cleaned the arches and behind the arch liners! Looks a lot better, quick before and after!

What we really need, is to see some pics of it!
  14. Only just got them back from powder coaters a couple of days ago. Had to sell the last set of wheels before I could sort the BBS out! Got a week off work next week though and i've bought myself a DA polisher. So I'm going to spend a couple of days getting everything looking sharp
  15. I have all the metal bits, its just the logo part of the cap that looks crap. Handy about the spanner though, do need one of those!
  16. Almost ready to go on, just need sealing with some Gtechniq C5 and waiting on BBS spigots to arrive...Anyone any advice on where I can get replacement centre caps that aren't stupid prices? Mine have whiteworm on them and just look tatty. BBS or VW ones, don't mind which really.

    Epc light

Nah I didn't unfortunately. Sold the car on to a mate, and as far as i'm aware that light is still on! It never caused any issues though
  18. Your old ones are not GTI ball joints, they look like they have been replaced at some point with standard ones. The new ones are the right size!
  19. The ET on the RC's is 35, so a 20mm spacer on the rear would take it down to 15ET. I would recommend not going under 25ET if you are lowered, because unless your arches are rolled you will get scrubbing! Me personally, I would go for 10mm on the back and 5mm up front
  20. was 90% looks, not gonna lie 😁
  21. Upgraded my brakes to g60s today, went for the Brembo performance discs in the end, also replaced the ARB bushes and the droplink bushes with OEM. Getting the metal bracket to fit on to line back up for the bolt on the ARB bushes was an absolute nightmare! Took forever! Couple of pics, didn't have time to clean the arches or paint the calipers, will be done once better weather arrives! Thanks to @yeha for the carriers!
  22. Nah I had lupo ones lying around because I was due new pads/discs anyway and they are supposed to fit. You got yours on without any issue?
  23. So, these don't fit. As in they fit on the car and the discs fit, but the brake pads do not due to the bit the pads sit on being different. Here's a couple of pics are these just useless then, or is there a pad that will fit??
