been tryin to buy a single cd player on ebay, seen that most have the lead sticking out the back, but some also say they come with an 'illumination loom' aswell....? does anyone know if the lead on the back of the unit supplys power,illumination and audio signal or do you need this illumination loom as well.... ?

so just to confirm, if i get the VW accessory upgrade front speakers, you only get the main woofers, not the tweeters and they have an in line capacitor as opposed to a full seperate crossover???? i'm guessing i would be able to fit them myself, i dont need to take the door apart or anything....? sorry for my ignornance, any help much appreciated.

are the VW accessory ones not componets then.....? the starndard ones are comps are they not....?

anyone know if the speakers on the vw accessories list are any good? i want some to replace the standard fronts but cant really be bothered with finding room for cross-overs and taking the door and dash apart etc..... i'm assuming the standard front speakers dont have seperate crossovers.....? anyone know anything? i'm a bit of a novice.... cheers.

okay cheers.... d'you kind of 40watt rms speakers would be about right for the rear then?

sorry for the basic question - i was just wondering of anyone new what the power output of the gamma headunit is.... and if anyone could suggest any speakers that would work well with that power that i could shove in the back somewhere.... they dont have to be amazing, but they do have to be cheap(ish). ta.
