    Disaster!

Using a hairdryer or similair type of heat producer and an old Credit card or (Cataloy -Filler) Plastic Spreader. Heat will melt glue/resin and plastic card will scrape it off but don't push too much with the card, could scratch paintwork and for more severe glue get a de-greaser, from Halfords or any other motor factor, and clean cloths, this should return the tailgate back to its original state. Even buff up with T-Cut to give it a smooth finish I used white spirit to clean up my spoiler but the paintwork went white so t-cut to the rescue again! Dek
  3. Had the same problem with my 1.0 loop, but it played up after a hit and run accident(Golf hit me and run away ), my hand must of knocked the stalk because it would click in double time (like a blown bulb) but the dash has no flashing arrow. Cost me £45 + VAT from VW but i got someone to fit it, cant be annoyed with Removing Steering Wheel, Airbags etc And it works fine now!
  4. Check plug leads :- on plugs or on the dizzy/coil see if they are loose click back on Or the lead of a plug has a fault and you get a spark at the tip near the top of the engine instead of the plug in the engine Or check Coil/Dizzy connections sometimes they corrode and not allow a spark style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" /> Dek
