would it be at all possible to gain 25-50% bhp tuning with parts to a 1.0 50 bhp arosa engine.. other than an engine swap obviously.. i know people will say that.. ????

omg.. has anyone actaually tried fittin one of these.. its suppppooossed to be universal.. but i have had to have the rear left wheel off.. up on jacks... cut a hole in my bumper.. SAWN THE OLD ONE OFF (hard work) made a small tube of metal to make the exhaust and silencer fit.. made a new bracket to support it.. its taken 2 days lol.. hard work.. BUT SOUNDS SOO SWEET NOW:D:D anyone ever had any trouble with these.. or found it easier than i am making out?? Thanks Tom

This exact thing happened to me last week.. the clutch just goes all light and it is as if it isnt even connected to anything. Completly undrivable.. seat has no agreement for doing it for free.. i paid 200 pounds for mine.. (4 HOURS LABOR.. 50 POUNDS AN HOUR) it only took a day to do.. but mine did it after 31,000 miles... every car will do it eventually

i was wondering.. would adding a new back box actually reduce the power?? and how would adding an induction kit affect the power??

ok.. first of all i crashed the car and nearly wrote it off.. i know, nothing to do with the car. So the garage repaired it, then a week after i got it back the pedal box packed up, and the clutch was useless. Completly undrivable. So, the garage fixed that, and a week after i got it back this time.. the brake started to stick. I would push the brake pedal, and after taking my foot off it wouldnt come all the way back up. So i took it to the same garage as they sed they would fix it for free because i sed it was related to work they did on the pedal box. 2 hours passed, they came out and sed they dont know what the problem is. (i was thinking it was a simple pivot lubrication) but no. Its booked back in for monday, and a NEW BRAKE SERVO IS ON ORDER.. 100 pounds.. its costing me soo much money... not impressed..

hi all.. i have a 1999 1.0S Seat Arosa.. a couple of months ago i noticed that sometimes when i floored the throttle the engine did not pick up or accelerate as fast as it should. It is as if the engine is being sufficated because when this problem is happening it will accelertate faster on half power than full. I have just changed all the spark plugs and changed the oil and filter.. but still this problems occurs every now and again. I really have no idea what it is.. Any ideas? thanks

Well, your TDI will have alot more power than mine so you wouldnt notice the differnce. And also, the spare wheel does weigh a tonne lol...thats the best thing to get rid of.

My Seat Arosa V-reg 1999 1.0S has 49hp as standard i think. I have recently stripped out the rear seats and the spare wheel which saves about 60kg. I then tested the 0-60 time. 15 Seconds. I dont know whether this is faster than standard for the 1.0s...anyone know?? and what are the times for all your cars in the forum..??

HI all, i want to remove my rear seats on a seat arosa 1999 1.0s. I have managed to get the bit you sit on off, but i need to know how to get the back rests off. I have opened the hook to the open position but how do u disconnect them from the center (between the two seats by the seat belts).
