Since my engine is worn out, i was wondering if a 1.4 16V fits in my 1.0 (not mpi) engine bay? If it does wich engine code should i be looking for, and should it be a 75bhp og 100bhp engine? Does one of the many 1.4 16V fit straight in? (except for the wiring and the ECU) And what about gearbox, does it also fit? Cheers

Just a little update on the project Today i bought oilfilter, cabinfilter, airfilter and 4 new winter tyres (nokian w+) I also changed the oil to a 5W-30 Catrol racing Tomorrow i'll start the day with a good wash and clean, nice to have a room only for washing cars at work. New update will follow hooefully tomorrow... Sarup

Yeah its a good start in Denmark we have 2 years MOT. 4500 is very expensive, but we have 180% taxes on cars in Denmark

Hi mate's I just bought a 2001 Lupo last week I actually wanted a GTI, but because of the high taxes for cars in Denmark, i could only afford a 1.0 which cost around 4500 pounds. The car which is called "Hulk" due to the colour (fantasia green) is imported from Germany in 2009, and it still got 2 year MOT. Plans with the Hulk so far: Coilovers RSL Cult 8x15 and 9x15 Rebadged grill OEM front foglights Black head, indicators and tail lights Carbon badge on the trunk Black interior Hope you enjoy the car as much as i do Cheers Sarup
