Was looking into swapping my 75bhp engine to the 100bhp but seems like abit to much effort, would I benefit much from putting a 100bhp inlet, injectors and throttle body on my 75bhp, and would it be a bolt off bolt on job? Cheers

Went to the meet today 1st Sunday of every month kicks off at 5. Location in title. Some really really impressive cars, lots of American stuff, mustangs, Chevy trucks, hot rods, drag cars, vdub campers real big range of cars, quite a few minis there, one with a R1 engine in. Few rat look things, definitely worth a trip to see, I was pleasantly surprised how much there was there. Where did you get white walls from? I couldn't find them anywhere!

£50 for wheels alone, but had them painted white.I bought 15mm spacers for front and 20mm for the rear, I took te 1mm off the spacers VERY gently with a belt sander so te wheels where still original.

Hi so had my lupo about 10months now and I've made a few changes along the way so thought I would start a little thread. Bought it completely standard you get the idea, but a couple of pics... Firstly got it on coilies and took bumpstrips off... Wasn't really into rolling trims so thought have a go at painting steelies... Looked ok on steelies but at end of day just steelies so they didn't last long, bit of a jump in time but this is as it stands now, BMW teledial alloys, euro plates, white VW badges. So thinking maybe white roof next? Maybe decat, any thought? Thanks for reading.

Sounds like pedal box to me, very common fault.

15 BMW mini wheels on maxed out collies no adjusters in rear.

Running 15mm spacers up front 20mm on the rear and took the 1mm off the hubs centric spacers with a belt sander VERY gently!

Finally got these fitted, what people thinking? Yay or nay?

Your right sorry it's other way round vw 57.1 mini 56.1

So got some mini pepper pots but bore is 57.1 where as vw is 56.1 so instead of taking the .5mm off the alloy I want to keep them standard, what would be best way to take the .5mm of the spacer, can't really spend any more money getting then lathed. So DIY tips please, I understand some people have ran these wheels before.
