I'm very interested to know how TDI owners get 58-65 mpg, I've never got know near that. I manage between 38-45 mpg. The car is well serviced, i don't drive like a loon, so how come?

They are threaded, use a pair of pliers with a bit of cloth so you don't damage the plastic pins ( just in case you change your mind ) a little bit of force is needed to get them started , then just screw off.

That's different , i like it !

Like both of them.

I second that ! when i removed my side rubbing strips i tried loads of stuff to get the glue off nowt worked, guess what ? Petrol did the job.

I have the relay supplied with the DRLs which connects to positive and negative so they come on when the car starts, but they stay on even when the lights are switched on, there is another wire coming off the relay which connects to the sidelights which makes the DRLs go off when lights are switched on, but how/where do i tap into the sidelights.

I know a lot of you don't like after market DRLs , and i must admit some do look awful, but if done well i think they can look good. Anyway my question is how do i tap into the sidelight wiring as i want them to go off when i put my sidelights on. Thanks. Tony.

Thanks for the reply Sausage, i had mine re-mapped at Awesome in Manchester so l am presuming about 100 bhp, i have since fitted an Allard EGR delete kit does that give any more bhp, also.you reckon a K&N filter would give me a tad more bhp.
-
Sausage, how have you got 110 bhp ? Just a map ?

Always good to see your name pop up on here, very interested to see what you've done next. A truly magnificent Lupo.

Those carbon bits inside, wrapped or hydro dipped? either way they look great, nice chrome light switch and heater knobs to.
