  1. Maybe VW will read this thread and drop the price a bit before launch, this is pressing times and the car is undoubtedly overpriced.
  2. What the hell is with the mock Audi mini grille.
  3. Exactly what I had in mind Talby, great work didn't expect any takers . Yeah that looks a ton better now!
  4. Yeah, I know what you mean. The rear lights are really big and close together which I think is the problem. IDGM Seeing as there is 1 Abarth dealer in Scotland, and an amount I can count on my hand in England, Abarths are very rare. Only 200 I think I remember reading over on abarthforum.co.uk, are coming to the UK this year. The Grande Punto is a different story, but then I think a lot of people have forgotten about that in amongst all the A500 hype.
  5. The alloys don't really do much for me, and I see what you mean. Some people like the subtle look, and that's the kind of people I think VW is aiming for with 26 grand car. The Scirocco has always been marketed as a kind of semi-luxury GT cruiser in this generation, and to have Max Power looks would sort of be against that tide. A set of R32 alloys on this and I think it's perfect. Photoshop anyone?
  6. That's an NSU TT, one of the Auto Union companies. NSU TT
  7. ^LOL . Only niggle I can fine, a really really really hefty 26 grand! That's more than the gorgeous Focus RS
  8. Just what we have all been waiting for! LINKY Stunning IMO, exactly what I wanted from a hot version.
  9. Fair enough, although your missing one key detail. Abarths are built in a different factory in Italy (normal 500's are built in Poland), and they have their own seperate headquarters and facilities. MG Rover were always lumped together due to the fact money found down the back of the couch kept them running for a few more years.
  10. You are entitled to your opinion, but may I point out you are VASTLY outnumbered by people who think this car is great looking.
  11. Irrelevent as the car is not a Fiat. It is built in a totally different factory by different people. Why don't I just start referring to Audi's as VW's...it's just as blasphemous. People don't realise Abarth isn't a trim level, it's a new manufacturer.
  12. Look it up on YouTube, it does sound liek a diesel. I do like the sound, but video comments on most videos confirm the confusion that is being caused.
  13. Andy Fine=boring/bland. I have never been excited by something that is just 'fine'. Maybe a 'hot' version of the car will add something, but this just has nothing too exciting going for it. It doesn't strike feelings of "that is a great looking little car".
