Well my lupos approaching a year old this month, Ive got it booked in for the 1st service in a few weeks and the quoted cost is gonna be about £120.00. Does this sound about right and what will they do in the service, anyone know?

I need to find a sack of cash lying around if I'm going to try and do all those mods style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Take a look at the multimap - link below: http://www.multimap.com/map....p.y=126

How about meeting somewhere near where the M6 and M1 meet?

Too far for me I'm afraid - I needed to set off on Friday to get there for tonight...(j/k) style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

I found Bridgenorth and youre right, its in Shropshire just south of Telford. Link: http://www.multimap.com/map....ut.y=17 I might be able to make this as its within a couple of hours drive from me. Any idea whats going to be there Matt? Also is the date right 'cause the 11th is a Thursday I think? That could make it tricky to get to...

i cannae be arsed to open the map book - wheres bridgenorth? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

That tyre calculator is a great help thanks Matt style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> It says that changing the standard wheels (205,45 R15's) for 205,40, R16's only makes a 0.87% or 15mm difference in the rolling radii meaning that at a speedo reading of 70 you would actually be doing 70.61 mph. I rarely look at the speedo anyway ( style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />) so I cant see that making too much difference. My only other thought is that its important to find the right tyre to go with the wheel. In the latest EVO the Good Year Eagle F1 comes out tops - any reason why I couldnt use this tyre (actually I wonder if it even comes in the size required???). Also are the OZ Polaris 16's a heavy wheel? The last thing I want to do is put some great looking wheels on my lupo and then ruin the handling and driving experience... Argh help! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Will the 16's fit straight onto the lupo or do any adjustments need to be made first? Also what tyres would anyone recommend for shoeing them up with? Finally would 17"'s be viable or is that asking for trouble?

lol is that bit about the flammable gas sticker true? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

QUOTE(bAAx)...will cause "wobbles" that affect the steering geometry of the car aswell as the oscillations in the weight distribution, this will not only affect your confidence, it might also require more grip from the car than is available at that time.I dont know why but any talk of "wobbles" related to driving never fails to bring a smile to my face style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Top class description of losing it in a corner and s******g yourself style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
