Seen some 8 inch wide bbs splits with tyres...any one know if these wide mothers would be ok on my gti? they are 15" and 4x100 pcd so thats ok....just the 8" part I am not sure about!!???.... cheers for ya help chaps and chappesses.

haha...the fogs in the pic are actually real and were on the car at that moment in time. as for the shoppin - 1-2 minutes...ya get the idea dontya...can safely say its a no on them anyway...thinking why mess...just get some bbs!

yeah antracite would be better...struggling to find some decent wheels that are reasonably cheap and a bit different. fogs are from a previous owner...since that pic was taken i ripped them out...dont really know why they were put on anyway!...zenons are good enough!

shes got a piperx ind kit, cat back scorpion ex and a sports 200cell cat. done a few miles though and as Al has said earlier, that was done as the clutch was failing and the figure was at the wheels not clutch power.

I have a 200cell sports cat and have had it remapped...think it was more torquey with the sports cat and since the remap it seems much better alltogether! I have heard bad reports when it comes to decats...personally I would rather have a sports cat but opinions differ!

No worries Al, it's made a massive difference to the car so credit where credit due I say! As for the V1's...you're probably right there mate! I'll email ya! Quite happy with the 127bhp to be honest. I was initially hoping for more like 135 but I suppose 81 thousand miles down and still pumping out over 125 is pretty decent! I am more happy with how she pulls now ( ) definately happier through the revs and lower revs at the legal limit of 70!...soo...potentially a little saving in mpg me thinks! As for that clutch...words cannot comprehend that sort of a snappage!

Right lads...the old loop has been in to see Al at awesome. He stayed rather late to allow me to drop her off and so many thanks to him for that! Lupo had a little cough which meant the clutch dissintegrated on the RR...so new clutch went in. Only driven her a couple of times since but I can honestly say she is much much happier now! Seem to pull much more smoothly and seems much more eager to rev accross the range! Overall, very happy! Cheers Al and the lads at Awesome! Though I would say....this has done nothing but convince me that she now requires new wheels and some kw v2's!....more money splashing out me thinks!

hmm mine seems pretty wobbly so dont THINK its moulded in...seems like it is slotted in...maybe when the bottom section isnt attached to the upper bumoer bit! Cheers though!

Hello peeps! I have an issue... In my haste to remove the fog lights from within the bottom section of the gti front bumper I smashed my way through the headlamp washer unit thingy (the thing that pops out!). The plastic 'nip' thing that the tube attaches to has snapped so I need the washer unit... any ideas of cheap places? or a part number?!... ALSO...anywhere I can get the grill meshy stuff for the lower front bumper? as this was snipped to accomodate the fog lamps...GR! Any help mooch appreciated...dont fancy going to the stealers for 'an hours labor'!

How blo*dy low is yours on your weitecs!!!!???? must me scraping the arches on full lock?! yeah, pretty drastic...the swivvel arm has been rubbing stuff cus its floppy as. so the rob is being changed and the master cylinder has got a hole in which is allowing air in!which means no gears engaging whatsoever!lol...jus a measly 650 quid!!! presuming shes fixed soon...give us a wave when ya see me!i work on pride park...

yeah i think i have been on it in my mini! tends to get quite a bit of traffic and general t*ssers on it though but deffo worth a trip if its dry!!didnt know that thats what its called.
