Guys, at the moment I'm trying to put a Y Reg Polo GTi engine into my Lupo (1.4 AHW). I know the engine is the same as the Lupo GTi engine, but all the wiring etc. is all different. Has anyone done this swap before? I've looked on haynes, but they only did a manual for the normal polo for that era, I can't find one for the GTi, so far as I can tell. Anyone got any advice? Did they only do one spec of the polo GTi for that era, or did they do more than one trim level? Cause if they did i guess the wiring would be different depending on the trim level? Unfortunately, I don't know the full reg of the car the engine is from, I only know that it came out of a Y reg polo GTi. Any help would be seriously appreciated. -Chris
