Does anyone know where to find information on converting a lupo to be taken to the states? I have had this wonderful car for a short time and i do not want to leave it here (Germany).

I finished installing the rear speakers and i put the arm rest back on without drilling and the speakers sound just fine; I have them running together with two sets of tweeter. I am satisfied and I did not have to pay for a professional install.

I have the speaker holes, but the curve in the arm rest (door cards) prevent the speaker covers from fitting in place! I think the Audio installation stores are trying to rip me off, or they dont know what they are doing and making up odd claims to direct me to a more simple installation. dont know what that is like in the UK but here (DE) that seems to happen in every other store.

This is probly a dumb response from me but, did you ad a fuse coming from the battery to your power cable for your amp?

if I wanted to order the GTI Door cards, how would I do this? The reason I ask is because I am also trying to install speakers in the rear passenger arm rest area. My Lupo (college) doesnt have the room to hold speakers and if i were to have them installed they would fall out after a few years; at least that is what i am being told.

It seems there is no hope or quick fix for my 1 ltr. I really appreciate forums such as this I would have wasted much of my money on stupid ebay cons and engine mods, i will stick to stereo and body cosmetics. thanks! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
