Passenger side central locking
Surferdude0702 posted a topic in Car Care, Maintenance and Mechanical
Hi all, my car has a road central locking kit fitted which was already in it when I bought the car and just yesterday it has started to play up, I will lock the car and all the doors will lock but the passenger side will immediately unlock itself, anyone had anything similar or any suggestions? -

Saw your lupos there the other night, both looked rather smart, seeing if you're on here

Right well havent updated this in a while but since then I had a little bit of an incident involving a curb which ruined one of my wheels, wishbone and brake disk Since then she sat rather high on 3 different coloured wheels for about 3 months, but I have now finally got round to sourcing another set of wheels which I got cheap then sprayed them up, got rubber on them and got them on, also winded the coilovers back today so shes finally sat back nice and low again, what do you guys think getting on my drive haha

Nice looking car, heres a photo of mine, its the same colour to give you any ideas, only bad side is the colour is a nightmare to keep clean haha

I'll be there in mine too, also heading up early sunday from the south west -
I had this problem and the motor turned out to be my culprit, i took it out and then removed the black plastic bit so you can see inside, cleaned out all the grease, cleaned it up and then applied some fresh grease around it and re fitted it, not had a problem since I did that

Hahaha thats pretty funny to be honest
-
I've already rolled them using an actual arch roller haha, why im putting slightly smaller tyres on so once its mot'd I can get it lower again as she is pretty high at the moment, Cheers Dubmuffin
-
I have, I can see the signs of scrubbing on the side of the tyre wall, hence why I'm getting small tyres, if you have a problem with that then its fine, in the end of the day its my car, I can't afford to go spending £70-£80 on each tyre
-
No you're helpful pete, just deadmetal who has been commenting pointless non helpful crap which isn't needed to be honest
-
I thought people were meant to be helpful on here? obviously not! I was just asking a question, Want to come and drive my car and hear the scrubbing? feel free Thank you to people who have actually been helpful and given me opinions and they're views on tyres, much appreciated

Woah! right im not 'skimping' I am just on a budget and nankang seem to be the only manufacture to make that size for a price I can afford, As people have said they aren't so great in the wet so ill just drive sensibly when wet. They wouldn't make and sell thousands of these tyres if they are absolute crap and people keep flying into walls now would they
