Can anyone explain to me why I'm finding the Toyo T1R's rubbish!? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":angry:" border="0" alt="mad.gif" /> I had all 4 tyres changed about 6 months or so ago, and ever since I've thought they were...frankly...crap. I had a set of Dunlops on before and they felt FAR better (granted they had worn down, not much but more than my Toyos have) The Toyos seem very VERY slippery all of the time...ESPECIALLY under braking, the whole car seems to wobble and feels extremely unstable under heavy breaking. The only thing I can think of it being is the 'pointed' tread shape on the tyre, its as though when you break it naturally tries to straighten the car, It's very hard to describe, does anyone else have this problem? or anyone else know what I mean? I assume there must be people on here who have run both sets of tyres? All I know is the Dunlops didn't used to do it, Id prefer the Toyo's not to do it and I don't like it, it feels unstable and erratic compared to the Dunlops. Am beginning to regret fitting the much raved about Toyo T1R's Can anyone shed any light on this? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":confused:" border="0" alt="confused.gif" /> Thanks Kev

What are your estimates for a 2001 Y REG Lupo GTI Silver 52k miles very good condition, very new Toyo T1-Rs looked after I will look on Autotrader but obviously something is worth as much as you can sell it for, Just wondered what your thoughts were Thanks guy Kev

Does anyone have any definitive real life proof of an ACTUAL top speed? for a Lupo GTI? How can this be found out accurately? HOW accurate is (for example) TomTom sat nav at telling you this information? mine displays this info but I don't know how accurate it is. also, WHY are speedo's notoriously inaccurate? Thanks Kev

I'm under the impression that the Polo GTI has the same engine as the Lupo GTI but with a turbocharger? Is it not possible to bolt this same turbo onto the Lupo engine? as a cheaper way of getting more power than performing the 1.8T convert from the Audi??? Surely, if its the same engine, it would be far more compatible? Thanks guys Kev

I'm sorry, i KNOW this has been brought up several times before but there still seems to be a lot of confusion around the issue of which LED bulbs to buy for which car, with which bayonet fitting and legality etc etc... Can anyone help me with the following: - Which bulbs (from www.ultraleds.co.uk) will work as brake lights for the Lupo GTI? 501? - Are they legal? will it pass the MOT etc? - Which bayonet fitting do I need? - Will the clusters fit inside the housing (ie is the hole too small/big?) do i need a certain number IE 19, 24 - Are they likely to bring on any warning lights on my dash? - Are they reliable? - Can I replace other exterior lights easily? IE rear number plate lights? without installing resistors. - Do they look good? is this mod worth doing?
