  1. Hi Scott, Love the way your car is coming along. My Lupo was my first car too! What sort of condition were the bumps when you took them off? I'm looking to replace the n/s rear on mine. Dawn
  2. Hi there I've had my little Lupo for just over a year and love it! Dawn
  3. Hi,I know a lot of people remove their bumper strips, but just to be different I'm looking out for a black n/s rear strip. Dawn
  4. Many thanks I'm used to working on older cars and bikes with things called screwdrivers lol!
  5. Hi, erm, feel a bit daft asking this, but is there a special tool for removing the rear light lenses. There is a screw which is revealed when the boot is open, but it is not a standard philips or xhead screw. No clues in the manual, of course-see your VW dealer!
  6. Hi, is it possible to put a search facility on the for sale section? It would be really useful, instead of trawling through every post. Thanks
  7. I can see how the visibility is better without them. I'll contact the dealer and see if the previous owner still has them. Thanks for the info about the radio Rob, my daughter would be really upset if it didn't work!
  8. It does have holes for the headrests. Feel a bit daft at having been fobbed off with the 'optional extra' line
  9. Thanks for the speedy reply! No, my Lupo doesn't have rear headrests. This is my first modern car, so I wasn't sure what it was supposed to have. I've also dicovered from reading through the handbook, that I'm missing the radio code and the plastic key tab. I know that if the battery is disconnected the radio has to be reset so I need to get that, but how essential is it to have the key tab, as I have two keys?
  10. Hi everyone I bought a 1.4S, 2004, with 44,500 on the clock last Saturday, and am still finding my feet with it. When I checked the tyres I found there were four different makes! Can anyone tell me what tyres were originally supplied with the car? Also, I was told that the rear headrests were an optional extra. I presume this was untrue. I found the Problems section really enlightening, many thanks Dawn
