where will i find the relays for the rear lights? i know where the fuse box is but not the relays and im told mine needs changing as the rear lights have a mind of their own...where do the relays live and which one do i need to change?

OK. my loop - bog std, ultra low miles 33k - full vwsh - do i sell, px for a bottom of range new fox - look for a used fox? another used loop....dreeem 1.6gti......or,,,,,,,,,,tart mine up a bit and keep runnin it for a few more years - u know, alloys, better stereo, maybe a snazz respray or something - on a £1000 budget tho if i take this route - what do i do? help.ta.

Hiya, our 1.4s - that passed its MOT yesterday BTW !!! we get approx 300 miles from a full tank - approx 40mpg i think - based on mainly town driving and weekend trips in the country etc. Insurance for me is £210 fully comp - am an old fart u see style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Gotta sell our loop - see the thread. Very sad if she has to go.

Served us well last 4 years. Only one drama - door straps - fixed by VW. 31,000 FSH 1.4s blue - only mod is a cd player otherwisw A1 cond with full vw service hist. It really is that simple. I did mine to get a bit more life before motor packed up. Changed whole motor in less than 2 hrs. I used wd40 in the window runner channel as i had no silicone - works fine for me. Previous poster is right, it only takes a very small resistance for the safety to cut in, have u looked into the channel to see if there is a build up of muck/grit/fingers/dead sheep??? LOL. Sorry, seriously u might find a quick spray and 30 secs wipe thru of the channel averts a major drama.

please help - my rhs leccy window has stopped functioning - fuses in the fusebox check out ok and u can hear the motor 'click' when you press the switch - is the motor goosed or could the prob be elswwhere? any ideas guys? Am still stuck - anyone got some ideas, have searched on here - how do i test for a new switch, or is that ok as i hear a click etc
