  1. Really? I have to say the quality of DAB is easily 10x better than FM, not to mention the availability of many more stations!
  2. http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?/forum/58-cars-for-sale/ colour, mileage, previous owners,MOT, any issues, where located, pictures etc etc?
  3. How to change -either buy some radio keys, but to be honest this isn't necessarily. Find some moderately thin but sturdy plastic, cut it down to two longish rectangles (make sure the width is thin enough to fit into the two slots either side of the radio unit), push these into the two slots you'll see vertically on the front of the radio, and pull. Should come straight out. As mentioned you'll need a wiring adapter to get the aftermarket one to work, i think some units come with this, otherwise you can find one on eBay for not a lot. You also should switch the red/yellow wires.
  4. Yes the cd player can be replaced with that pocket, I have one I have taken out of my Lupo that I will happily send you for £5 posted. Not sure if it really matters, but the original one has ventilation holes on the top (which sits below radio) - might help stop radio overheating.
  5. Disappointed it's not on the site anymore! Someone must have it saved though.
  6. Hi, as per title, anyone manage to have an electronic copy of the Motorsport booklet for the Lupo cup cars, before they were taken off the website?

  8. All seat belt points now in! we made the decision that the spare wheel well is going... Hopefully tomorrow.
  9. Sounds good - get a thread going on the members car section! What's the project? Race/Rally, track days, restoration?
  10. We've now boxed in the A pillars of the cage at the bottom, cage fitting completed. started fitting seatbelt points however ran out of gas, been quite unlucky with both wire and gas running out in the space of two days. So instead of welding we cut the dashboard out at the sides to fit, and had a trial fit of wheel/seat to see how easy it would be getting in now the cage is in, and how much room there was. Got a brake bias valve to reduce pressure to the rear lines and a t-piece to split the one line to the rear brakes. This will be fitted after all the cleaning/painting has been done.
  11. 2 days of work in total (daylight). And apart from a few small bits needing welding the cage is in. Amazing how you can work outside in December without large costs and still be warm enough! harness points to be mounted soon, and painting of cage/inside the car. Once that's done its brake line time!
  12. Yes there's definitely 4, one on each corner. You could probably get to them though maybe bending the plastic lightly that surrounds it, not sure though. I had it listed in the parts for sale thread for £15. Open to offers though, message me if you do need one.
  13. Price? Service history? Tyres could do with replacing - how much is left on them?
  14. It's been a while since i stripped down my Lupo, but from what I remember the controller is held on by 4 nuts, either 10mm or 13mm IIRC, but getting to these might not be very easy with a socket.
  15. I didn't think the airbag controllers were coded to the ECU though? I have one if it turns out you need a replacement.
  16. Just to add, I picked up an EGR valve for £15 + postage for my 1.0... They aren't really that expensive if you buy a used one.. Yes it's a bit of a gamble but touch wood I've had no issues so far!
  17. You could save a lot of weight taking the bitumen pads off the floorpan.
  18. updated list to reflect what has been sold

    Few bits

It's probably fair to assume it's the knocking. Common issue, and I don't think that he'd be asking how does a bearing work / fix the issue if the strap was snapped in half...
  20. Yes I plan on using the GoPro that I have, going to use an adapter as well to have the audio from the intercom system recorded as well! Be sure to upload some footage for us to see when you do a race!
  21. There you go, it has been cleaned up since this picture, was taken during a house move!
  22. Hiya, near Wigan. Happy to post at your expense though. Reckon it would be somewhere around 7-10 to post it, not entirely sure.
  23. Ok thanks a lot, I'm also still trying to find one on the internet but no luck so far
