Nicki and Tigz haven't been on for years - I've not removed their mod status, if no other reason than the fact they were both long-standing members who invested alot of time into the forum so I've left it purely as recognition. As for new mods....there's barely enough content here to need moderating. I think Ray and myself come by often enough to keep things in check, and there's the report feature if we miss anything. And give Rich mod status? It'd be like leaving the kids to look after the house while I go to work

Hi all, I'll soon be making an update to the most recent forum software, which includes exciting features such as: Clubs! (I heard you like clubs, so I put a club in your club so you can club while you club). Reactions on posts! (rather than just 'like' ) Improved Profiles! Better Leaderboards! (fao: Rich) And so on. I'll be taking the forum offline for a bit at some point this week to do it....so if it's down, you know why.

Parts are always going to be difficult for what is now a pretty niche car. It won't be a problem to get someone to manufacture a specific part - but they'll want a large volume to make it worth their while, and who's going to front that cost given the likelyhood of getting the money back? Membership isn't an issue (and that itself is another discussion), it's more the cost and logistics of making it worthwhile. I don't want to order 200 custom-madeball joints for £1000 and find I can only sell 8 of them

Yeah, it'll be completely separate to the forum - however how it's linked is completely customisable; probably easier to have a link across the top. Give me a couple of days, I'll do it the same time as I upgrade the forum software and drop a link here.

Oh, it's easy enough to setup using MediaWiki which can be hosted here and managed. I've actually tried twice before, trying to copy the SELOC Wiki which I like the format of; I can't even remember why I canned it, in all honesty! Easy enough to get it installed again if needed?

Apologies - seems the permissions in here were a bit screwy. People could create topics, but not reply to any. Wrong way around... Fixed now If anyone has any suggestions, or feels they have a long term project which should/could go here, let me know.

It was hard work last time - I don't think there is enough of a social side to warrant it anymore, some people were winning categories as there was only 1 vote Long gone are the days when this was used as a social forum, it's pretty much down to the technical and ownership of Lupo's now.

It seems it's a GMail thing - I don't get notifications to this account which uses GMail, same as you. But my test account gets them on Hotmail... Our server isn't on any blacklists, so I don't see why it wouldn't get sent strange...

Update - I bought a Google Pixel phone, to taunt the iPhone goons. I was also tempted by an XBox One S or a new lens for the camera.....but it'll mean dipping into the car fund...and I'm not that desperate.

Is it only me who hasn't bought anything?

Many a time we've tried to put together a Wiki page to collate the info, but getting it all transferred from the forum to the Wiki is a nightmare. Well...a long job anyway.

I looked at a few Fabia vRS's for a daily driver before I ended up with a 9n3 Polo GTi. Supposedly great to drive, but the low-rent interior (nearly every car I looked at had a dashboard scratched to hell) and cream seats which were a nightmare to keep clean put me off. In comparison, the Polo was much nicer inside. I suspect the Fabia was better to drive, but it was only a work hack, and I spend alot of time looking at the interior! Guy at work had a vRS and loved it - his was minty mint but he wouldn't sell it to me
