I've had the demo for ages too and love it, but am rather disappointed with the album, it sounds far too clean and polite, with all the rough edges (which was what I liked about them) smoothed off. Mostly playing at the moment: Arctic Monkeys (the demo!), Gorillaz (Demon Days), Editors (Back Room), Devendra Banhart (Cripple Crow), Anthony and the Johnsons (the first self-titled one not the overhyped I Am A Bird Now), Kate Bush (Arial), Hard-Fi (Stars of CCTV), Blur (Think Tank -- much slagged off at the time but I like it), Jackie Leven (Elegy for Johnny Cash), The Departure (All Mapped Out), British Sea Power (The Decline Of -- better than Open Season by a long way), Franz Ferdinand (You Could Have It So Much Better -- a bit tired of them now, but was given it for Xmas and it's in the player along with the others).
