Are those ATS or Motec wheels? Looks stunning!

Cheers. Wheels are 15x7 OZ Ultraleggera, no spacers. But because of the rear brakes (mk4 R32) the wheels are spaced 1 centimeter further than standard.

Also if you have 2 cars to combine, then you will still need to bare in mind that a LOT is custom work and you probably only use the larger hardware from the donor car. But if your good with a welder and good with electrics, why not. My project took 1,5 year to finish (also because I couldnt work fulltime on the project). -

ah ok, but he also didnt build this Lupo haha. Do you have a lot of time, money and patience? Then you could consider a conversion.

Lupo enige bay is way smaller than a mk1 or mk2 Golf. BUT, it has already been done: i've also seen pictures but cant find them now.

Electric needs a LOT of adjustments. Driveshaft you'll have to measure when you have the engine mounted. As far as I know, there are no engine mounts which have a straight fit. It easier to use a TDI because of the fuel gauge sender unit, diesel cooler, turbo valve, pedal box and so on. Electric will always be a pain in the ass.

Sweet! But why an ARL engine? AXR could possibly do the same bhp as the ARL, you only need different injectors and turbo. Seems much easier to me then a motor swap.

1.4TDI or GTI has an hydraulic clutch. A complete pedalbox of an 1.4tdi cost me around 150€ at the dealer.

Thats a lot of bhp for a Lupo!! Dahlback reminds of some good old videos of extremely fast cars.
