  1. Hi all, hope you all had a good christmas. Right, Peanut the Lupo Gti has an issue with her dirver side window. It will go down, but not up. I popped the pannel off and swapped the switches over and they work fine, but the dirvers window will still not go up via the switch. No clicking or anything!! However, it will go back up using the key in the door. So the question is... Is there a relay that can be changed or is it part of the motor? Any help greatly apppreciated...and i did a search for this issue but nothing similar.

    SatNav!

Why not just buy one of the many Satnav products avaialaible form the likes of TomTom.(Update maps every year, and all the greed caemras etc) and you can take it out at night.
  3. Its an MOT faliure if not working im affraid. If its passed like that, it shouldnt have
  4. Sadly matt, thats how it starts. Unless you car is broken beyond repair, then just hold on until the loan is paid off. Yes it maybe forever, but you will get there in the end. Spent to much money buying the next car and upping the loan to cover it! Money is an evil thing...apprently, and i tend to agree. Why cant we go back to a a barter system? I am hoping that RS6's will be 'affordable' when i'm out of debt
  5. Dont do it. Take it from me. Im now in an IVA (One step away from bankruptcy) after cards and loans got the better of me. Its like an addiction, you think you can handle it but you cant. Mine all started with a new hifi at the age of 18, then a car loan, then on from there. I played the 0% credit card jump for a few years, paid this off with that and it went on...£57,000 later and nothing to show for it other than a 13 year old Volvo S40 and stuff! I was paying £980 out of a £1300 salary just on debts, i then had to pay rent and live. Things you can not do. Transfer an overdraft to a card. I now have what i earn. When its gone its gone. I just have to go without stuff. In the long run it will be better. Do i miss credit, yes i do, its hard these days. Im 37 and will be out of debt shorty after my 40th birthday, then i can go and buy a house...more debt! Great huh! So just say no kids. Find yourself a rich woman/man and live off them. Sadly i couldnt find one and had to settle for love instead! Ce la Vie!!
  6. Sadly not. Mine runs out this time next year! There is also a conspiracy that this is the time for people to loose thier motorbike entitlement. So make a copy of the licence 1st before you send it off!!
  7. People of ClubLupo, heands up. Its almost 10 years since the introduction of the pink plastic peril that is the Photocard licence. Anyhoo, so waht you might say? Well, your licence is only valid for 10 years if you didnt know, and you will need to obtian a new one by paying those people in Swansea £17.50 + a new photo or else you will fall foul of the law, and you can be sure that they have special task forces set up for this kind of thing! So check the section 4b on your licence for your expiry date. HTH
  8. A forned of mine works in the deaprtment that deals with prescriptions. there is a team of 4 people, yes, 4 that check prescriptions and that the people are on what benefit they say they are. With something like a million prescriptions a year, you have a 1 in 250,000 chance of being found out. So very slim.
  9. Hmmm cheap halfords bikes *Shudders* Always worth paying an extra few earth pounds for a Raleigh or similar. Own brand stuff is evil! just look at Tesco Value beans! Anyhoo, i have just got a Cannondale Badboy 650 to replace a recently stolen Marin Naovato. I prefered the marin, but the insurance co didnt supply Marin bikes i use mine to ride to work twice a week and it only takes 15 mons longer than on the motorbike. However, it takes 35 mins longer on the way home (Large up hill stretch). I would never buy a full suspension bike for the road, although on some of the orads in london, it would be a great idea!!

  11. Well, they dont seem to be. What should i look for to ceck if they are, and if they are not, what do i need to fix them? Ta in advance
  12. Hey all I want to give peanut's (Her Lupo GTi) bodywork a buff up. Now, T-cut is just to darn hard work, so has anyone found a product (Professional/off the shelf) that does the job quicker, better and easier? Theres quite a few minor scratches on it and plenty of swirl marks. The car is black, so its very noticable. I have a polishing machine. Thanks in advance
