Hey folks, Got a 1.0e lupo, its been going well but now the engine management light is on and it is loosing power when it is cold ( i know usual signs of Coilpacks,Spark plugs or ht leads) my question is how do i change these are the coilpacks under the plastic engine cover/ airbox? and spark plugs are at the bottom off the ht leads? And last but not least the engine temp sensor has not been working since the light came on so could this be f*cking it up somehow? Cheers, Grant

Yes i did they were like £190 quid delivered ! true they do make a bit of noise over bumps and easy to fit literally a few nuts n bolts

Well where to start I had a polo GTI but she got wrote off by a van hitting her, so after R*ped by the insurance i had to get a cheap run around till i get my funds back to buy my big bros ibiza cupra and i have always fancied a loop anyway. So i started looking around for a nice lupo, i wanted a black one but saw this wee beut. one female owner from new apart from the womans dad and 70,000 miles only prob is a small mark on the side!. Never had her back an hour before the back seats were out and the wheels from the polo were on! poor wee car had an easy life until now ! Then got her sized up for coilovers nice cheepies to get me by! In the process Done looks nicer tbh Then today came flyeyes and a numberplate surround and a good clean! Gloss black roof next anyone fancy a wee photoshop for me please? Was thinking about some bbs rs Reps (shudders) as i am totally skint anyone had the bbs rs ones off ebay any good? Cheers folks,

Very nice mate mines is gona be that low soon! take it you aren't getting any rubbing on the driveshaft being that low seeing as you dont have a chassis notch? and were the fronts easy enough to fit? Cheers

There is no grease on the old wheel i tryed moving the wheel 3 - 9 before and there was no play, it just feels like somethings touching the wheel would this sound like a cv joint? thanks for the replys folks cant get it into the garage as its christmas !

Hi Folks, Just bought a 1.0E lupo at a cracking price only thing wrong with it is when driving at 20+ a loud vibrating noise is coming from the front right wheel when i turn right slightly and when i speed up the noise gets faster and louder, i changed the wheel for the spare wheel as there is a decent kerb mark on the old wheel (thinking the wheel is twisted or something) but it done nothing.. now is this the cv joint or track rodend got a funny feeling its the track rod end. Also the car has been sitting for a few months any info would be great and iam new to the site so be nice

i have indeed cant afford a cupra atm so going for a GTI plus the petrol will be a bit cheaper
