Hi guys Quick update , Finally got it mapped its producing 333bhp and 298 torque Also just had my photoshoot done for golf + should be out in next few months .... cant wait

Hopefully i will be making it to e38 and the gti festival , When is the dates for them both again ? Also let me know on the headlamps as well i was going to buy some but when i came to look on ebay they had gone. The arches were made by je design i think but the guy whos done the bodywork has got some mouldings from my arches as well Cheers for comments good and bad !

Cheers tigz and Rich It has come along very quickly to say how much of a stand still it was at some points in time massive help from markpassrat and his mate steve on the wiring helped a very lot to get it where it is today , Really happy with it at the moment apart from struggling to get hold of a pair of gear linkage cables to get it back on the road Cheers for the compliments

No problems dude ill get a few taken tommorow im just fitting a pair of gear selector cables to it and should get some better ones if the weather holds out I have been talking to Jabba about remapping and was thinking of getting it done in the next few weeks or so , im hoping for around the same power as my mates ihi ibiza cupra so should be fun ! But by all means if he can give me a good price let me know and i will have a think Cheers

Here is my lupo Gti... I bought the car damage repairble about 2 years ago and didnt replace the front end with the gti front end as i didnt fancy paying £1100 at the time for the headlights , plus i already had the arches that i was going to fit to my 1.4 i had before , so i decided to use them onto my gti and it turned out like it has now , I suppose you can say its a gti with a difference ? i took the car off the road SIXTEEN months ago for the engine conversion , problems occured which i wont go into detail but 16 months on its on the road apart from a mapping session Here is a spec of what i have done to it Bodywork Dietrich Front Bumper , with grille smoothed in Rieger wide arch kit Mk5 golf style boot Full repaint in Candy White Black painted roof VW badge painted black and white Smoked headlights Fk Black Rear lights Gloss black badgeless grille Wheels 16" Kerscher Karmona painted black centres and white lip 7.5 front and 9 rear 195/40/16 Front 215/35/16 Rear Tyres Chasiss Fk Highsport Coilovers Powerflex polybush kit Strut brace (on order) Engine 1.8 Turbo from golf AGU GT2871 Turbo Tial 38mm External wastegate with screamer pipe 440cc Injectors Custom Tubular manifold Full 2.5 inch exhaust system Custom Driveshafts Vibratech engine mounts 3" maf with a K&N Gen 2 Filter Stage 3 clutch HKS BOV recirc valve Custom Front mount intercooler Possibly a few other bits i have forgot Interior Standard Gti trim soon to be retrimmed Defi boost and oil pressure gauges with defi link Kenwood double din headunit there a few other bits i have probably forgot but hear are some pics , all positive and negative comments welcome Will add a couple more of the engine when i get my data cable back Cheers

Well well well Its been nearly a year since i put an update on here about this and what i can update you on is that it is 99% complete and will be at elsecar on sunday , so hope to see some of you there , i will post up a few pics of the build and other bits and bobs after the weekend , all that i need to do is get it mapped but im going to wait a few weeks to make sure theres no teething problems i ran it yesterday at 0.7 bar and it brought a smile to my face just at that ! Got a bit of a progress report the engine is all sat in and staying in now no need for it to come back out now haha. So far the top covers have come back from powder coating the turbo is bolted on, the wiring has been started , The intercooler has been bolted on to make the pipes , the charge/boost pipes should be made through the week and over the weekend along with the manifold, The ecu has been sent off for decoding so i dont have to use the 20v turbo clocks , The driveshafts should be made in 3 weeks they cost 270+ vat each !!! There isnt much room in some places thats why im glad of the fast road engine mounts. i keep saying this but hopefully it will be done for then end of may , the hold up has mainly been for parts etc now its all labour work to be done now Fingers crossed....
