The Arosa is still for sale, and it's got a new friend in the driveway! 13 plate Ibiza 1.2 TSI FR Much bigger boot space, and more economic for the grownup commutes to work Not as quick as the Arosa, or sound anywhere near as lovely, but that will change soon hopefully!

  9. Yea the clutch has been changed, new seals and bearings in the gearbox, and the pedalbox has been welded and strengthened. Went a bit all out on it Drives beautifully now! I'm down in Manchester right now but will be back at the weekend to take more pictures of the car - the engine bay hasn't changed since this photo, except there are now aluminium struct covers on both sides

  14. Well after all the useful feedback above... ... I decided to take the CAT off. First off was to remove the CAT with a big grinder, then measure out a section of pipe to fit the space and mark where to make a boss for the lambda sensor. Then welded in the lambda sensor, welded a flange on the top end so it could be removed easily and then coated the pipe with rust proof heat stuff The exhaust sound has improved, pops on down shifts after a decent drive and generally sounds better. I've noticed it seems to produce more pull at the top end of the revs, but have noticed 20 miles less out of a tank of petrol (either from decat or my right foot... )
  15. I have a set of blue Sports seats for sale
  16. Been thinking about removing the CAT for a while, but thought I'd see what everyone's thoughts were on it. Gains and loses? I know it'll fail an MOT, but I'll make sure the CAT can go back in with a drop pipe or something if needed. My mate is pretty good with a welder, so making a boss for the lambda sensor will be easy So... worth it or not?
  17. I have a set of standard ones from an Arosa Sport mate if you still need them
  18. £30, I could meet you on my way to Manchester on Thursday this week?
  19. Haven't posted in a while, not really had the time to do much to the car. I did manage to have the door cards trimmed in leather, with matching blue stitching. Also painted the door plastics to freshen it up a bit and new window switches from Skezza as well Had to make custom grills from aluminium mesh for the rear door cards Gearbox is starting to feel a bit rough, struggles to get into first and there's a lot of play when its in gear. I've read a lot on the forum about other peoples problems, so I think I'll need to start saving up!
