  1. A new house has stopped the build for the moment, BUT it is still very much alive and the new engine/box package will certainly get a few heads turning...
  2. I had forgotten about this, its still in my parts box so bump....
  3. Whats pointless in having cheap road tax, pretty sensible MPG and kicking a Gti in the weeds with a 1 litre? hmmm.
  4. After picking myself up off the floor following uncontrollable laughter about the micra I decided I would add useful information about the subject. To raise or remove the limiter you would have to erase or modify the parameters of the ECU. The only part on the engine that can identify engine speed is the crank sensor and you cant change anything on that, If you search around you may find some tuning company out there that will plug in and interogate the ECU and skills dependant, remove or raise it. It is alot easier to fit a new standalone system to be honest. As for the engine taking the revs, they are solid lumps that are seriously over engineered so lets have less of the little 1 litre talk. I have the AUC hitting 9800rpm with big bhp on stock internals, yes they are lightened and profiled but NO problems.
  5. One other thing to note with hard cut limiters for quick shifting is the damage that continued use will cause to the cylinder head gasket. The harsh cut followed by the re-ignition of the unburnt extra fuel now in the cylinder soon does the gasket. £25k of testing and actual research/damage proved that years ago. Save yourself the money and get a cheap omex shift light.
  6. As above, Unit taken from a 2002 lupo in 2002! so its in very good condition. £15 including postage to UK address.
  7. What parts are you looking for?
  8. I happen to have access to 26 of them, lol shame I cant get one or two away.
  9. :rolleyes:You certainly have won it, I'll get it in the post to you!!! I have more of Lupo adac badges and some of the new beetle adac badges too. I also have Lupo mouse mats and the odd VW metal lanyard. All are genuine VW motorsport issued.
  10. A walk around the farm brought me to this nice small saw!
  11. The lonely tree, all on its own in the dark..
  12. IDGM, looking back at it now, your correct haha... A little out of focus around the head but this moving and using a pretty high focal length, 70mm to be exact
  13. Out and about in Welwyn Garden City on a foggy day under the viaduct.
