  1. I actually prefer and use all grey OEM mats. ...however I do have an unused set of GTI mats should I wish to use.
  2. ...and like the Lupo, they likely fit by opposing force. look for arrow heads on the rear side Windows and in the door shuts for Mount location.
  3. I've not looked for a while as I have all the bars I need, but you have A couple of options. Go to the Thule website and look for your car under the configurator Look on Halfords, again their confgurator should help Look on EBay.
  4. Welcome along and good choice for a first car. have a read through the How To guides and I hope, you get some inspiration from some of the threads.
  5. Best to report so we can easily fjnd and block, delete content.
  6. Both now banned as spammers.
  7. Yes, interchangeable as are springs. Diff part no's likely for higher damper rating
  8. Split the how to and saved I the Archive and How to guides.
  9. 🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽
  10. I used to put the back seat down and chuck Ghillie, a 37kg Flatcoated retriever in the back, and go on camping road trips. Alas she is no longer with us. I have one of the generic adjustable dog guards that I put behind the rear seats so she couldn't annoy me too much. I found it best to remove the base of the rear seats.
  11. I went for: S5 004 Bosch Car Battery 12V 61Ah Type 075 S5004 from Tanya Batteries. £82.95 delivered.
  12. Lower, wheels, GTI interior, keep it clean and enjoy.
  13. A mouse ate all the data. We had to make it sick to retrieve it. Mouse is doing well in Mouse Hospital.
  14. Slimmer spring profile to the front: closer/progressive winding to bear the engine weight. Once you get them off you'll see see which go where. Rears are simple. The fronts not quite so as you need to remove the strut to strip the top and slide the spring off. Pretty sure it's tighter coils to the bottom.
  15. I prefer the benefit of better tyre choice over the OEM tyre size any day. ...you could always get a second set of wheels and run 195 RainSports for wetter months and 205 T*yos for summer show time.
  16. Vredestein Sportracs http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Vredestein/Sportrac-3.htm UniRoyal Rainsports http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Uniroyal/Rainsport-3.htm 👍🏽
  17. Brand new OEM rear exhaust section for a GTI: £50 delivered brand new Bathurst still in box: £50 delivered
  18. You realise there is a 50kg roof load limit? Which includes bars and box\rack etc. i use a 370l roofbox on VW roofbars.
