the red G40 lupo's mine i personally know of one other. im not 100% sure where shes at with her conversion. i believe were both having issue's with finding a sufficient fuel pump as the lupo fuel pump is completely different setup. iirc, the lupo pump is internal and the g40 pump is external, they also have different flow rates. i've been through 2 g40 pumps so far, and havent yet figured out why. and unfortunately i'm not on youtube. i keep saying it, but i WILL eventually make new videos!

so i washed it for the first time since i got it back.. currently having running issues, keeps hunting on idle and every now and then it randomly dies at the lights.. also yesterday i noticed the brake lights stayed on. i've checked the switch, and bought a new one, and it appears that even when fully extended the little 'plunger' sits maybe 2-3mm away from the pedal? has the pedal had it?

tbh I dont really wanna disclose it as the price was agreed and dependent on what parts I had sourced. I had the engine for a year so had everything, full engine, loom, pedal box, fmic etc. I see your based in scotland, the guys names Dougie and his garage is in Dunfermline http://trixauto.com/

picked this up yesterday and drove it 431 miles home, what a HOOT! got a shedfull of parts so watch this space and hopefully going to longlife on tuesday

so i bought these on sunday 14 x 7+8 et25 i think. wrapped in 195/45s all round. i'm thinking slimmer tyres maybe needed for the fronts. next on the list is new topmounts & coilovers. im still undecided on which ones though i know everyone says the jom/raceland ones are poop, but if i wanna go low on the rear there going to need adapting/cutting anyway right? any help/opinions would be great! please dont just go and buy 25mm spacers! this depends on how wide the wheels actually are aswell?

That looks pretty amazing tbh. My mate has a set of these on his mk4 golf V5. He may wake up to find it on bricks at some point in the near future! LOL. What coilovers are you running? And are they standard of have they been adapted? Ryan
