ok no probs thanks i'll sort it out tomorrow then

hi heres the pipe, its got a sensor half way down which i found out was a intake temp sensor :/ so do you think i should get a bit of piping and cut a hole in it to attach this sensor to ?
-
Hi guys I'm a little ashamed to say this but i need help with my air filter :L i bought a pipercross viper for my sdi and i saw a picture of someone's arosa with a cone filter and they've taken off the pipe to the air box and attached a cone filter on the intake but the pipe on mine looks like it has two sensors :/ should this get taken off for a air filter ?
-
But there's a cold air feed coming from the wheel arch which would direct fresh air to the cone filter so it doesn't suck in hot air that's what made me think a cone filter could be a good choice :/ but you maybe right this is my first diesel :L and the box plugs into the injector pump (i think that's what its called) and its got a screw on the side of the box to allow more fuel in or reduce it. my dads friend recommended it to me because he had one on his fabia sdi and said it made a little difference :-/
-
I removed the trumpets on my sdi and i got a cheap box which allows me to adjust the fueling slightly (which will be removed once i can afford a remap ) it seems to plod pretty well up hills but that purge sounds like i should deff give that ago with an induction kit do people advise taking the standard air box off and putting a cone filter there instead ?
-
awesome well i'll deff keep my eye out and go to the next one
-
the trumpets are restrictors in the black box on the intake of the engine, the reduce air flow so it will reduce power slightly. there called trumpets because of there shape
-
to be honest im not sure because i dont go to any car meets yet (bit ashamed of my car because its not in the best condition :L) but maybe we should organise a meet or something ?

Hi i think some common problems are gearbox failing and pedal box and i think the channels on the roof might get a little bubble of rust but i could be mistaken i hope this helps
-
hi, dont forget check the peddle box ( i think that the clutch pedal should be slightly higher than the brake pedal ) thanks, hectashouse

hi geeza and yeah i found out that the bosch fuel pumps will work with it better than the lucas ones, is this true ? and i got told to change the fuel filter a bit more because of the veg oil will clogged it up quicker with the dirt from the fuel tank ? and i'll have a read to see if i could put a little bit of unleaded with the veg oil, well i will have to read more about it before i feel comfitable tipping veg oil into the little lupo thank you for the info ! and yeah i think i'l price up new glow plugs and starter motor and work out if its really worth it because i dont wanna try and start it one day to find out their dead thanks for the information everyone (as you can tell i wasn't expecting much of a response but im chuffed now thanks guys ! )

Thanks for the info guys and dblock would i have to declare it to anyone ? And i dont think so theres just fuel pipes connecting to it so i guess not :-/ and very good info fretwell i can get 20 litres of veg oil for 19 pounds in makro so thats what made me start thinking about running a lupo on veg oil :L
