  7. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflmao:" border="0" alt="roflmao.gif" /> There is NO WAY you are going to get 230bhp from just a chip!!! If it's an early cable throttle engine you can only get up to 190bhp and even if its a DBW you will only be looking at 210bhp. And his claim that it's "one of the fastest Golf's in the UK" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> There are probably hundreds if not thousands that will be putting out much more power than that! Also all that MDF and audio gear will slow the car down considerably due to the extra weight.
  8. I mean acceptable to them. Most German sellers I've delt with will only either accept cash (Euros) by registered post or payment by bank transfer.
  9. Yes you can use your UK login details - it's all the same. As long as they will ship to the UK and you pay by an acceptable method (most German ebay users don't use PayPal) it should be ok style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  10. Glad you made it home ok style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Look after her well and post some pics up once you've done your mods style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> And welcolme style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  11. I had over 30 enquiries when I put my car up for sale and it sold to the first person who came to see it - wouldn't call that struggling style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  12. Nelson Mandela is at home watching telly when there is a knock at the door. When he gets to the door there is a small Japanese chap waving a clip board and pointing to a truck full of car body panels shouting “You sign here, you sign here” Nelson looks at the chap and says sorry mate you must have the wrong address and slams the door. Next day there is another knock at the door and Nelson goes to see who it is, it’s the Japanese chap again and again he is excitedly hopping up and down waving a clip board and pointing towards a lorry load of car gearboxes and a lorry load of tyres shouting “You sign here, you sign here” Nelson angrily says to him that he must have the wrong address and tells him to sod off and not to come back! The next day Nelson is in the Garden when 5 lorries pull up outside his house all brimming with car parts, engines, spark plugs and everything, The Japanese fella comes over to Nelson and shouts to him pointing at the clip board “You sign here, you sign here” at this point Nelson grabs the little Japanese chap by the throat and says “ I told you to sod off 2 days on the trot, so why do you keep coming back?” The Japanese bloke says “You not Nissan Main Dealer then?”
  13. Agreed but the IRA 'usually' issued warnings to minimise loss of life and injuries on their bombing campaigns.
