  1. Fellow up owner her, iv got a high up in red with sports pack so very similar car to yourself. Iv been very impressed with mine, possibly one of the best handling cars iv driven, whilst on test drive the salesman had got me booting it round islands whilst shouting at me "give it more! give it more!" and it just clung on and then zipped up to national speed limit in no time. Also, after 12k miles in around 10 months all that its needed was a new bulb in the day running light and the heat shield on the exhaust had a slight rattle which VW fixed without question. Waiting and preying for an Up GT though and wish the sat-nav/audio thingy on the dash was a bit better but other then that, super cheap tax/insurance/fuel costs but good looking and a hoot to drive. Whats not to love!?!?
  2. Has anyone seen this car or know of its current location? Its my old lupo and i miss her =[ Few desciptive features of the car are when i had it is it had got some rather un-usual wheels made by platin, lowered on coilies, very loud hiden backbox and a pink front badge but no doubt all of this has changed!! Interior is black with red centres on the chairs, its a 1.4. Any help appreciated! =]
  3. Also is the rms of the sub rated per coil or as a whole? Im so confused! haha
  4. As far as i understand from crutchfield if i wire both coils of a 4 ohm sub i get 2 ohm resistance? So i need a amp stable at 2 ohm? Also how do i know if an amp is stable at 2 ohm's and will the rms of the sub be doubled if it goes from 4 ohm to 2 ohm?
  5. Wanna buy this sub here: http://www.audioassault.co.uk/Subs/10%22_Subwoofers/Rockford_Fosgate_P3SD410_Shallow_Subwoofer but im abit confused about the 2 sets of terminals on the subwoofer? How do you wire them up do they both just go to the same pair of terminals on the sub box or do i need 2 sets of terminals on the box or what? A bit confused any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Russ
  6. Hi, been looking at active subs as i carnt decide what to go for and i like the fact that i wont have an amp lieing around the boot or have to remove my spare wheel for it. Iv been told the mtx 8" active subs are ment to be good? Also looking at a vibe cbr 12 as i can pick one up for £85. Any advice or recommendations. Cheers, Russ
  7. Thats great mate. Thanks, Russ
  8. Just wondering which type of throttle body my car will have. Its a 2001 1.4 s 75bhp engine. Is it cable or fbw? Also for the gti/sport throttle body conversion onto a 1.4s what type of model and year is it easiest to sorce the correct throttle body and inlet manifold from? Cheers, Russ
  9. Also does that mean i have to run the whole loom threw my car? Is this a big job? Cheers, Russ
  10. Evilonion could you tell me what parts you priced up and how much they came 2? Cheers, Russ
  11. Also do i need the ignition barrel and keys or what? because my keys dont match atm and was wondering would the barrels from the polo gti doors and boot be the same as the lupo ones so i could get a full set of matchin locks and ignition barrel with keys? Cheers, Russ
  12. So can i keep my original clutch or not? :S lol As far as i understand so far i need engine, engine bay loom, some sort of exhaust system and ecu? Cheers, Russ
  13. Does this mean i can keep my original clutch pedal? Cheers, Russ
  14. How much you after for passanger door mate?
  15. Basically I think the one clutch pedal is cable and the one is hydrolic so the stabdard lupo one has to be replaced with a polo one, I think you can just swap the clutch pedal over but this won't affect you as you need a whole pedal box due to being am auto as standard. Cheers
